"I had Service Today! complete two separate projects for me. First, I had an ice dam fall on my A/C condenser last winter and needed repair/replacement for an insurance claim. Second, I replaced my old water heater and boiler with a new combined tankless boiler & water heater unit. This involved complete repiping in the basement since I was also moving the mechanicals as part of a basement renovation. It was a large and complicated project, and ServiceToday! was awesome. Shout outs to Blake, Randy, Dave, Marc, Willy, and the rest who were part of the project. Like I said, it was pretty complicated and their team was always professional, friendly, courteous, and took pride in their work. I also love that they are diligent about calling 20-30 minutes before arrival so I don't have to sit at home waiting during a 2-hour window like I've frequently done with other service providers. Also, the latter project was an expensive one ($20k+) but their pricing was competitive and fair, and they have great financing options available. Would 100% use them again."

"We called this company Sunday night when returning from out of town and they were out by 11am Monday morning. They replaced the defrost heater and everything is working now."

"Service couldn't have been better. Mike (I think his name was) was very professional. He arrived while my wife was home and uninstalled the old water softener, installed a new water softener ($480), and connected the water line to the freezer's ice maker ($100).
All of this took a few hours. By the time I arrived home from work, he was finished and showed me how to work the new water softener.
He was very polite the entire time. I would definitely use their service for plumbing again in the future.

"Great experience, great work, very friendly and got the job done right the first time! I had a leaky shower drain under a crawl space in our manufactured home and had them add an additional outside spigot on the side of the home all for a very affordable price!"

"Brendan, the installer came out and gave me a quote that was understandable and complete. He recommended certain systems based on my needs, and gave me his cell number for any further questions. The prices came below any others, and in come cases nearly 1/3 less. I talked to him later about how other options might help, and he was very helpful. During the installation they explained to me (and showed me) where the previous system failed, and how this would not happen with the new system and why. When finished the utility room was cleaner, and the heating was more organized than before.
I would recommend DJ's to anyone.

"We were in Florida at our winter home on February 8, 2007 when we received a call from our house watcher that there was ice forming in the toilet in the upstairs bathroom. After checking, the furnace had stopped running and it was severely cold so the ice was beginning to form. The gas company came out and repaired the fan motor in the furnace and the house warmed up but the shut off valves in that same bathroom had been forced out so the water began to flow for 12 hours until a neighbor saw water coming out the garage door. The water was then shut off and Servicemaster was called to clean up the mess. They did a wonderful job and packed everything we owned into a semitrailer for storage. We had an estimate for repairs done at that time and they we of an undetermined amount. I then contacted GCM through a friend and received an estimate to do the work and hired them on the spot. They came in and immediately removed all the wet drywall and carpet and floors and began the replacement of drywall and flooring, did all the painting and finishing etc."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
