Well, I went forward with the project and could not be happier. Everything went smooth on the date of installation. After discussing the location of the plug in site Mike thought the best location would be in a spot which required him to do extra wiring but there was no change in cost. He was excellent at explaining what he was doing and answering my questions. He even took the time to test everything with the generator hooked up to the transfer switch to make sure we everything worked properly. He gave me several options about dealing with the leaky valve because he was able to tighten it so it wouldn't leak; however it was old and would likely need to be replaced sooner rather than later.
