"Brock had 2 differnt teams work at our house and they were both excellent....... very polite and professional. They actually showed up early on all days they painted. There attention to detail was great. They took all neccassry precautions prior to each room they painted making sure all furniture and fixtures were coverd or removed in advance. After each visit they cleaned up behind themselves and quite honestly other than a few paint fumes you probably would not have known they were there! They finished the project earlier than promissed even though it was during the Thanksgiving holidays. Payment was made only after the project was finished and inspected by Brock and myself. They did very high quality work and we will definetly use them again in the future.

"The most professional company I've ever delt with! Turned our house into a home! I called 13 contractors and Monge Remodeling gave me the most in depth walk through and project scope. He didn't try to cut corners or upcharge me. He was fair and true to his word. We had an old flip house that felt hopeless but now feels like a forever home. He replace beams under my house, replaced my subfloor, Leveled all the floors out in the home and installed vinyl flooring through my ENTIRE home. "All went well, and we have been pleased with the performance of the unit; however, I did want Angie's List members to know that one of the workers fell through our attic, leaving a hole and dangling, unusable light fixture in our hallway. I did not want to pay in full until the ceiling was fixed, as promised by this company. They insisted I pay and agreed I could write beneath my signature that they were to return or have another company fix the problems. They never called or returned, and my husband asked me to let it go. Ha! I never did--at least until we had it fixed!

"They were able to come to give an estimate an hour after I called, and showed up on time.. Underneath the house was difficult to access, but they went under. The receptionist had told me that there would be a $50 diagnostic charge that would be applied to the cost of repair if the repair was done. One of the gentlemen said the diagnostic cost would be $75 because they had to go under the house, but when I told them what the receptionist said they only charged $50. They agreed to come at 8:00 the next business day, and showed up on time. They replaced the pipe, cleared a drain for the washer, connected the washer, and cleared a slow draining sink. They agreed to come to another location to get the check when I couldn't meet them at the property, and sent a receipt via email with a written 2 year warranty on the work. They did not want to honor the 5% discount from Angie's list, since they were already paying Angie's List for the referral, but I didn't argue because I did not present them with the coupon when they did the estimate, as was indicated. In general, I was pleased with the work and happy to get the warranty. I later discovered that the father of two of the workmen had been my mother's plumber many years ago! They have a long history in the city, which is reassuring."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
