"Mr . Joe contacted me early on June 25, 2024. I told him what I needed replacing. He said he could come by and look at what needed to be done with my Attic replacement stairs. He called me when he got into the driveway of my home. He looked at the Old Attic ladder & Door that needed replacing. Quoted me a very reasonable price. He said I can replace it for you now. I said great ?. He left and went to the store to buy the replacement ladder and picked up a helper. The job was completed in 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with his work. His helper Lacretia Edwards was also a great helper. They got the job done with no problems. Very professional and I would recommend HANDYMAN SERVICES, Mr. Joe Nichols to anyone needing repairs done. The owner was very informative when he came out to discuss what was needed.  His schedule was pretty busy so it took a couple of weeks to get on the calendar.  We have not had the insulation long enough to know how much it has helped but they did a great job installing it so I expect it to make a big difference.  The owner was on the job site the entire time supervising the 2 men that did the work.  He would ask me questions to make sure that they did it exactly like I would like.  It took them half a day to do the work but they arrived on time, if not a little earlier, then they stated they would be here.  Both of the owners were exceptionally friendly.  A pleasure to do business with!!! <br />"

"I think I paid an hourly rate like $125 per hour. He came out pretty promptly and fixed the leak. The water was leaking, coming from the house underground. We had already dug it out and found out where it was, as opposed to having them come, hunt for it from the house to the street. We had already found the leak, but my husband was hesitant to repair it, saying "if I don't do it exactly right, we'll still have to call them anyway". So, I said, "just call them," So he came out, and within 15 to 20 minutes he was done because we already did all the harder work."

"<p>We wanted an awning on our back porch to keep the rain off of the grill. We have a second story so I thought it might look a little odd, but we did a lot of research and found a picture of one done by Alumaworxs on their Facebook page. It certainly helped to see examples of their work. We got three bids - Alumaworxs was the most competitive and the owner, Todd, was very responsive and he worked closely with us on the design and answered all of our questions. Alumaworx also had positive reviews on Angie's List and one of the bidders didn't have any reviews (that concerned me). The process went very quickly. After we approved everything was done within a week or two (it had been raining for a few days). They actually put up a sample so we could look at the corner and make sure it was at the correct angle and that we were pleased. After we gave the approval they fabricated the awning at their place and then came to install the awning. It didn't take long at all. I must admit it looks better than I ever expected. I would certainly recommend Alumaworxs to friends and family based on my personal experience. The owner of Alumaworx posted pictures of our awning on their Facebook page so you can check it out there. If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll come back and post. To summarize - we took a chance on Alumaworx based on other Angie's List comments and Facebook posts and we certainly weren't disappointed. We couldn't be more pleased!  </p>"
