"The crew from C. Maurer Building was great to work with. We needed serious repair on our rotting deck stairs. They came out in a timely manner and were super affordable. The repair looks absolutely amazing and we are very satisfied with the outcome. When it is time to replace the entire deck, we will for sure be using this company again."

"Great over-all experience with Fence and Deck Depot from the initial estimate to fence installation. Salesman was very knowledge about their fence products and did not pressure to buy. Office staff kept us well informed about the fence installation scheduling. The crew did a excellent job installing the fence and before they left washed down the vinyl fence and completely cleaned up the yard. A few weeks after the install we noticed one gate needed tweaking. They came the very next day and made the adjustment. The quality of their vinyl fence material is well above any other company we received bids from. We would highly recommend this company."

"Jesse repaired/replaced some rotted deck timber that was low to the ground. It supported a hot tub privacy fence that was leaning. He also pointed out the defects from the initial installer that I appreciated! Would highly recommend!! Will be calling him back for some interior work."

"We hired Intelligent to replace our old wood deck with a covered composite deck. We received bids from 4 different companies and all the bids came reasonably close. Only 3 of 4 companies were willing to install a roof over the deck. Our deciding factor was the variety of decking to choose from, the quality of decking, the timeline and how well Tom their sales person answered our questions and did not pressure us. He came to our house twice and we exchanged several emails prior to us signing the contract. We actually had one more company scheduled to give us a bid but after our second meeting with Tom we were ready to book the job. The owner Mike and his office person Andrew maintained contact with us and answered questions. The job ended up costing a little more and took a little longer than expected. It was due to 2 unexpected issues beyond Intelligent or our control which caused a slight change in drawings, engineer approval and city inspection. Love our new covered deck!! Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed."

"Jablan General Contracting replaced my aging deck. They did an outstanding job. Deck looks great. They also painted the exterior of the house. Quality workmanship at a reasonable price. They finished the job in a very short time. Would highly recommend them."

"First, let me say Huels Decking, LLC is an outstanding contractor that I would recommend to anyone that I meet that is needing their services. I had a back porch that was not in good shape. It was really old and falling apart. Huels Decking LLC tore out the old back porch and replaced it with a 16 x 12 ft deck. From start to finish I was always kept informed of what would be going on and Jake was more than happy to answer any questions that I had along the way. Jake also took care of calling Ameren and Charter to have the wires raised on my house so that they would not interfere with the deck and also to ensure that it was within code. The team showed up promptly at 7:00am each day. In fact, from start to finish it only took 2 1/2 days to complete. Great bunch of guys!"

"We recently contracted with Midtown to have a new deck installed on our historic home. Any concerns we initially had regarding workmanship, quality, or integrity were immediately put to rest. This company was exemplary in every aspect. From teardown of the old deck to completion of the new build, we were made aware via the customer portal of progress or concerns. Michaela, in the office, addressed our emails quickly and allayed any fears we may have had. Thanks to Jacob, Nolan, Tony, Juan and everyone for a quality performance! Kudos to them all!"

"Mark and Joanna demonstrated exceptional professionalism by arriving promptly on the scheduled date and time to provide a bid for replacing our concrete patio. Their punctuality is noteworthy, especially for those who have experience with contractors. The company provided copies of their insurance and a signed contract, ensuring transparency and trust. Mark and his crew maintained their commitment by starting the project on time. We are thoroughly pleased with the company, the seamless process, and the fair pricing we received. I highly recommend them and will undoubtedly engage their services for future projects."

"Jim and his crew tore down our 15 year-old rotted front porch and constructed a gorgeous new one with composite materials. We added riser lights and an extra step to the original agreement, and we are very pleased that we did. The riser lights add to the safety of the steps along with looking so nice at night. We couldn’t be happier with our new porch; it has greatly enhanced the curb appeal of our home. Jim was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Although this job was not completed as quickly as we anticipated, my husband and I much prefer quality work over speed. We would be happy to work with The Hungry Carpenter if the need ever arises."
