Lucky found from the specs and diagnostics that the top oven fan was the problem. Lucky was fantastic. Ordered the part and spent over an hour working on replacing it and checking it out. "We had a problem with a drain from a window well that would result in continuous flooding in our basement. We were finally able to fix the problem with the drain and hopefully prevent further flooding. So we contacted two businesses about mold remediation and removal of the damaged drywall and paneling. The first company, provided a good estimate but they were not as professional or reliable as we wanted. After searching online we were able to located American Home Services and then used Angie's List and saw they had great reviews. I immediately called them about receiving a free estimate and they offered to be out at my house the next day to give us an estimate. The President of the company was the person who came out to give us our estimate. He was able to explain everything that would need to be done a reasonable time frame (2 days). I received the completed estimate within 24 hours and scheduled the appointment shortly there after. American Home Services responded on time and placed plastic down in the hallway that leads to our basement to prevent any damage to our floors. My wife and I then waited as they worked for the day and after they completed the days work, they then showed us the basement and what they completed. Overnight they left a dehumidifier and other equipment to complete the work. The next day they came back and hand cleaned any spots that weren't completely cleaned within the first day's work. After they were done, I was then shown the basement and the work that was done. I then received a receipt for the services and a print out of all the work/chemicals that were used in the basement during the repair. American Home Services then provided us with a warranty to come back and fix any problems within the first year. Overall American Home Services is a great business that is willing to work with their clients and make sure that their needs and concerns are met.

"I was able to schedule an appt very quickly the initial time and the electrician, Danny, communicated with both myself and my tenant, as it was a rental property and arranged a time to stop by that was good for my tenant. The outlet suddenly started working before Danny arrived so when he got there he explained to me that he just made some minor repairs since he didn't know what to do because it wasn't broken at the time. About 10 days later, my tenant called and said that the outlet malfunctioned again. I contacted the company and explained to the person (whom I assume is the owner or manager) what happened and he contacted Danny and was able to get him out shortly after. Danny said he replaced the breaker for me as well as did some other things, which I was kind of lost due to the jargon. Anyway, they said that there will not be a charge the second time, which I really appreciate. Overall, great communication from both the manager/dispatcher as well as the technician, Danny. And they seem like they really wanted to help me resolve the situation as opposed to milking me for more money. This type of honesty in any business is a rarity nowadays."

"The visit went well and the service person was on time.  The first diagnosis was not correct and a defroster part was ordered and replaced.  The problem was not corrected.  A second visit was required and the action taken at that time corrected the blocked drain hose problem.  We have not had any problem since the 2d repair visit.
