"The designer came out and looked at our space and existing decor, listened to what I thought wanted and showed me options. We selected what we wanted and they ordered it. They contacted me when everything was in and arrived promptly to install the fireplace. The installers were professional, put down clothes everywhere to protect carpet and furniture and were efficient. The city inspector came and then they came back to install the mantel. The supplier had stopped carrying the marble we had ordered and has substituted something else. We told Carter Custom we didn't want limestone but really wanted a light colored marble. They found us another supplier, took out the limestone and went to install the marble. The main floor piece had cracked during shipping. They got us another piece and finally we got it all installed. The installer showed me how to use the remote control and how to manually over ride in case of a power failure. He also went through basic maintenance. I really appreciated all the communication as the supplier problems were sorted out. I always knew exactly what was going on and what the current status was. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional and overall we had a great experience. The price quoted and paid was considerably less than other suppliers for essentially the same product and the people were considerably more helpful. Overall I highly recommend them!"

"As many of you know--finding a reputable home improvement company can be quite a challenge. We had some major projects to do in our yard and initially reached out to multiple companies requesting bids on building a 40 x 10 foot pergola, repairing a cedar fence and staining another major structure in our yard. Our experience in contacting home improvement companies was so disappointing. Inaccurate bids, no shows, and people showing up that presented themselves as home improvement companies but didn’t know what the heck they were doing. "Jay worked with me with the overall design and look of the bathroom. They completely gutted my 50-year-old yellow tile and tub surround, installed new insulation, backer board, drywall, plumbing as needed and white subway tile with grey grout in the tub/shower, vanity and corner niche areas. Included pencil tile trim and other clever solutions for a high-class finished look. Installed new toilet, tub/shower fixtures, grab bar, ceramic shower shelves, vanity faucets, three light fixtures, and toilet paper holder and towel rings. Added baseboards and quarter round moulding throughout. They worked quickly and carefully. Extremely neat, using dropcloths along all access areas. Showed up on time every morning and kept me informed throughout the process and brought me in whenever design and material decisions needed to be made. It is such a joy to use my new bath! I would hire Phoenix Remodel again in a heartbeat."

"I contacted Xpres and received a quick response by Roxy, one of its designers. We scheduled a visit to inspect the kitchen, take measurements, photos. She also requested a list of the new appliances we had already ordered to ensure correct measurements for the countertops and to get a good countertop match. In addition to visiting the Plymouth showroom, we also toured other facilities as recommened to see a larger selection of modern counter replacement products and kitchen sinks and faucets. The proposals were sent ahead of time and reviewed 1:1. Working within our budget was respected and the payment process was fair. Dave, the manager, was on site during installations, communicated easily with the workers, and he was onsite to check the work on completion. In tandem, Dani, the project manager coordinated the schedules for plumbing, electrical, and kitchen counter backsplash measuring, ordering product and installations. Great team work.
