"Never gave report, Said he would. Simply wrote an email with many mistakes. Claimed the stucco was in good condition and didn’t need any repairs, but our building inspector came and saw several areas of water infiltration and delaminating. I don’t know what house he was looking at. Don’t hire this incompetent inspector to come out and give you erroneous information. If I could give 0 starts I would. Terrible communicator. Extremely slow responses and had to bug him to send us report."
Dry kindling over a hot fireplace vent. What could go wrong?
Often the amount of ventilation in an attic is overlooked-it is just as important as insulation. Another good reason for a professional Home Inspection

"The most positive thing we have to say is that everyone was nice. The work, however, was a different matter. First, they warned us that there could be lot-to-lot variation in brick color. We were ready for that but our crew wasn't. The result is an unattractive splotchiness that even the crew who sealed our pavers found unacceptable. They won't be choosing to show any photos of our finished work on their portfolio. Second, the company fails to provide toilet facilities for their workers. We have three watchdogs in our home. We're not in a position to cover that obligation. Further, the guys didn't have goggles, face masks or gloves despite really extensive concrete dust in the air. We thought it abusive and were not comfortable. We mentioned it to our salesman to no avail. All communication had to be via iPhone Google Translate, and the project manager showed up only once and at that, for the first time two hours after the crew had arrived. We've hired decorative paver work before. I'm afraid this result was only marginally acceptable. Nice people, though. We did appreciate that."

"We have had another company mow our lawn for the past 6 years. When we decided to go in a different direction, we were recommended to use Sean. And I have ZERO regrets! They truly take pride in their work. The last crew that we had hired was in and out in 10 mins. We had lots of issues with hitting downspouts and breaking sprinklers, likely because they were rushing. Sean's crew takes time and pride in their work, and it shows! Our yard looks better than ever! His crew is very thorough and makes sure to close our gate (which also was an issue with the previous company). We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality yard work!"

"I needed two pieces of quartz for two different bathroom countertops. One was a double sink that needed a large piece, and one was a small 1/2 bath sink only 29" in length. I didn't want to buy a whole slab for the job, and I didn't want the same quartz for each bathroom. The owner was quick to respond and had me come out to his warehouse to pick my stone. There was a good selection of marble/quartz/granite. I found two pieces that I liked, and his bid came in $300 less than two other bids I had gotten. Such a great deal! My pieces were picked, cut, and installed within two weeks. Great guys to work with, and I'm very happy with their work."

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Salem, UT

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
