"Seemed very nice on the phone but when I went to hire them I would of had to wait almost 6 to 8 weeks because they were totally booked out. So figured they must really have a great business just was sorry i couldn't wait."

"Dusty is the best contractor I have ever worked with-EVER! We have used Elite Mountain Homes multiple times, including: a complete home gut, rebuild, including the addition of an entire second floor, a mudroom and, most recently, a custom silo build. Dusty isn’t a contractor-he’s an artist! He leans into creativity, re-purposes materials, offers affordable solutions and creates the most beautiful masterpieces. He communicates clearly and-wait for it-timely. He delivers on his promises and autographs his work with quality."

"I am incredibly impressed with the high quality work UDK has done in our home and the professionalism exhibited by their employees. Russel has come out to our home several times and each time we are even more impressed with his work. Russell is always willing to answer any questions I have and walk me through the clean up and remediation process. I have appreciated his attention to detail and cheerful attitude. We are so grateful for the work he has done in our home and would highly recommend Utah Disaster Kleenup to anyone in need of their services!"

A locally owned general contracting business that has experience in building homes for more than ten years. We have also been building cabinets and wood products in our own locally based shop since 2005. We build "CUSTOM" wood products that take "TIME", "DEDICATION" and "PATIENCE". With that comes a cost. Quality costs. If you're looking for a fast in and out low cost nice "FACADE" I am not your guy. If you want a high quality, one of kind, special like no other cabinet, the BMW of cabinets, then give me a call. I will give your project the special attention you want it to have! "THANK YOU!" We are a subsidiary of Thorup Building Company. Please visit our website www.customkitchenssaltlakecity.com

"Everything went really well. Rob was punctual and got everything done quickly. The price was competitive. He and the contractors he brought in did an awesome job. In the master shower, they replaced and fixed some of the old pipes and fixtures, installed a new shower pan and all the tile and fixtures. He was even able to work in a curve ball we threw in and installed the niche in the shower. For the outdoor stair drain, he and his crew were able to remove the old, ineffective drain and setup a much better drain with higher capacity and that is better at absorbing the water and rain. Rob also did some research on the best options for drainage in the stair well and helped us avoid costly options that would not work long-term. We're very happy with the result. For the window well installation, he got the job done despite our indecision and patiently worked with us while we changed our minds. Now we have an installed window well attached to the wall in a very narrow space with the drainage gravel all setup and ready to go. All through the process, Rob was awesome at communicating with us, keeping us updated, and figuring out solutions with us, giving us invaluable info based on extensive experience to help us make the best possible choices."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Salem, UT

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
