"Once the new line was installed I noticed a few issues with the drainage flow.  I emailed Bob Ewing (the owner) regarding the issues I was having.  He was very cooperative and understanding and told me they would "do whatever it took" to correct the situation.  After scheduling them to come look at the job they completely re-worked the line to flow properly.  I was very impressed with the integrity of the company as a whole.  They acknowledged the error and corrected it at absolutely no cost to me and actually improved the system so it worked even better than initially planned.
The crew that came out was professional and courteous.  They removed their shoes before entering the house and cleaned up everything after they were done.   Dirt was raked and mounded and everything was cleaned up before they left.  The backhoe operator was quick and accurate and the other employee's were energetic and worked hard to get the job done quick and accurate.  I was quite impressed with this crew.
I would highly recommend E&K for your excavation and sewer line repairs.  If you want a company that will stand behind it's work and believes in customer satisfaction you have the right contractor.  I personally put more emphasis on companies that will "do whatever it takes" to make a customer happy and do the job right than companies that undercut their competitors but don't stand behind there work.  I also like to deal with companies that will respond in a timely manner when called or emailed after there are issues and not just when selling a job.  Bob always replied to my emails within one work day.  This says a lot about their commitment to their customers.

"I'm very happy with the service I received from Edge Plumbing. I had an emergency with my plumbing and needed my drain cleaned out the night before a holiday. Travis responded almost immediately upon choosing him as one of the plumbing services near me. He came over that night, and then returned the next morning at 8 AM. He identified where the exact location of the break and was very helpful working with the excavator to get my line repaired. "Do your homework first. Check with your city to find out where your sewer line connects to the main. This is the only way to know in advance if repair/replacement work will cross water or gas supply, then when you get a quote you and the company you hire know up front what the situation is and can agree on expectations and costs. Get more than one quote. Don't believe any contractor saying they will leave the site ready to throw grass seed. If the job requires digging up your yard, you will be left with a total mess requiring either a landscape professional to fix it up ($$$) or many days of hard labor on your part."
