"My Hunter Douglas Duette shades fail every few years. The first several times they were under the seven-year warranty. I had to take them back to the retailer and wait weeks for them. The last time the retailer said HD was demanding postage of $45 a blind. I refused to pay. I guess the retailer paid. The owner came to our home, measured our French doors and returned in record time to install beautiful, perfect, custom shutters!! We wished we found him sooner than later - the first company we found could not provide shutters for our French doors - get this, the French doors shutters were installed months before the first company. We wanted to cancel the first company but we had already paid 50% deposit but the first company wouldn’t cooperate. "Was referred to this company by my friend Glen when we were remodeling our house, so I decided to get windows and shutters from WDG- Everything's been great! They did a great job with designing and installing as I needed everything to be custom.
Step 1- they sent a designer for the consultation who made recommendations and took measurements. It's good that they send a designer and not just any joe shmoe because he was actually very helpful in giving us suggestions and we ended up changing some things around because of his recommendations. 
Step 2- bid was sent to us, we signed the contract and sent out deposit. 
Step 3- our windows were made, they called us and set up installation and everything turned out great. 
After we were satisfied with our windows, we decided to get shutters from them as  well, and I am very satisfied. Since we were returning customers they even gave us a better price. 
Everything turned out perfect, the way I expected.

"They immediately called after I submitted request and were ready to discuss the problem and schedule an appointment. They arrived on time the day of the appointment, completed the repairs on-site and checked other shades to see if adjustments were needed. There was one other that has been a nuisance but nothing that I would have called someone in to complete. However, they did fix the problem with that shade as well."
