"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"Their customer service has not improved one inch. My latest complaint is that ADT charges me late fees and I have signed up for automatic withdrawal from the start. How does ADT run their accounting department? It's only $1.00, but it's the principle. I don't understand this. Does ADT think customers are so stupid that we are not going to notice? I have called several times with no satisfaction. I will be calling them every day until I see the $1 refunded back to my account. I would like to know how many customers have been charged late fees when they have set up automatic withdrawal. That's a good way for ADT to make some extra money!!!!!! I have to ask myself why I have stayed with ADT so long. With the way they handle their accounting department, I don't feel confident that if my alarm goes off I will get help."
