"Overall, I was very satisfied. They were busy, so it took some time to schedule the work, but the issues were not urgent. I called Garafano Electric for an estimate in late December. They came out to provide an estimate within about 10 days. The work was scheduled on a date convenient for me, several weeks later. I needed them to come out for a follow-up visit on the faulty lighting circuit and they scheduled that very quickly. They were able to identify an intermittent problem with one of the circuits and came up with an effective solution. They also recommended a good wireless switch and came up with a clean way to install it without cutting into walls or the ceiling. They did the routine work - replacing outlets and switches - very efficiently. The pricing seemed very fair. I purchased the parts myself and provided them. They offered good options in a couple of situations where unexpected conditions were discovered. I would definitely recommend them and use them again."

"They quickly and efficiently determined that the aluminum wiring on the outside outlet, which had never been pigtailed with copper like the inside outlets in the house, had worked itself loose inside the outlet box. This outlet tied in with the other two inside the house, and both worked after fixing the first outlet. The wiring was pigtailed, and a GFI installed. They answered all my questions courteously and professionally, and honored the Angie's List coupon."

"What can't I say about James, Ernie & Bryan/Brien. I hired Zero Electric (ZE) to raise/replace my front and backyard electrical outlets. James examined the outlets & suggested what he thought would be best. When we got to the 4th outlet, I guess he must have read my facial expression that I was not convinced. He not only re-suggested how he thought these outlets should be reinstalled but physically showed me & stated why. I was convinced & agreed that his suggestion was best. He and his guys were very attentive, they listened and are personable. Even though the day was a scorcher, James said it would take 4 hrs which it did. I have had other contractors do work for me, ZE is the 2nd contractor's staff that I was very impressed with. Their work is excellent, warm, pleas'g characters and a joy to be around. I give them all the accolades along with 10 stars. Please hire them when you need fabulous & efficient electricians. Their act of kindness was exhibited by hang' my flag:)"

"The install was good. Quick and effecient. The problem I had was with the job manager . I was quoted  $179 to install fans.. The small print is where the additional fees catch you. Just because the fans were to be installed in a ground floor room, the price shot up.  The other fan was installed upstairs... So, you mean to tell me it's going to take an additional $190 dollars to install a downstairs ceiling fan.. Total scam. The total went from a $179 for 2 fans install  $380 to get 2 fans installed. Will never use these people ever again.

"I had some lighting controllers which were old (previous homeowner had installed), that I wanted checked. Also, I needed the circuit breaker to hot tub checked. The controllers were no longer functional, so will budget to have them replaced in near future. Hot tub circuit breaker was fine, can now have someone come repair hot tub.
