Joseph installed my doorbell at the best location where it received excellent Wi-Fi connection and a perfect view of my front door, porch and walkway. He adjusted the sensitivity of the camera sensor to my liking, explained the functions and how to navigate them on my phone. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing technical products, services, installation and troubleshooting. The total cost of my Video Doorbell and installation was $189.00 and I am so glad I finally have added security to my home and wished I had done it a long time ago. "The bottom line – If you’re looking for a security system, go with WaveConnects. You won’t be disappointed. The detail – We’ve had a couple different security systems at our house over the many years we’ve owned it. Our initial system was installed during a remodel. Since walls were being opened, it was a wired (not wireless) system. Years later we had ADT update our system. Their system was fine, but they clearly only had one way of doing things: wireless. They neither bothered to use any of our wired sensors, nor installed any wired sensors of their own. Since ADT’s install, we’ve retrofit our home with automation/integration. Through our Savant app (and through our Savant handheld remotes), our entire house can be controlled: Lighting, Music, Cameras, Doorbells, Doors, Thermostats, and Pool. All, that is, except for the ADT security system (which is, apparently, proprietary and won’t play nicely with automation systems other than their own). So, I opted to install a security system compatible with Savant. Savant highly recommends the Elk Security System, so that’s what I insisted on having. After calling around, it was clear to me that most security companies will install only one (maybe two) systems. They were uninterested in taking requests. Without batting an eye, though, WaveConnects stepped up to the plate. They had never installed Elk, but were willing to give it a go. I had anticipated there being issues as a) there are always issues with electronics (i.e., nothing is truly plug-n-play); and b) WaveConnects had never installed an Elk System. To my surprise, no issues arose at all. The install went smoothly, quickly, and without incident. Further, contracting with WaveConnects was efficient, scheduling was easy, and Cory (the installer) actually showed-up early. Who does that? Cory, in fact, was incredibly professional and incredibly easy to work with. We loved Cory! He also didn’t cut any corners with the install. What do I mean by that? First, he found every wire from our original install, and he used those for sensors, when possible (instead of opting for wireless). Second, he found ways to run wired sensors to places we did not have any wire, only using wireless sensors where it made sense. Third, he made thoughtful recommendations for novel sensors where appropriate (heat sensors, flood sensors, glass break sensors, motion sensors). Again, go with WaveConnects. You won’t be disappointed."

"Frontpoint is very easy to use... it's one of the only DIY services out there. You can install all the sensors yourself (they are all wireless). You stick them where they need to go with very clear instructions, and if you do need help Frontpoint support is excellent. You always get someone on the phone, and they are always happy to walk you through any issues you're having. I've had issues a few different times with dead batteries in a sensor, or misplacement of a sensor causing issues, and in all cases they've resolved the issues quickly over the phone. Because of this, I can manage the system myself (and that's pretty much installation upfront, updating equipment every few years/as needed, and support very rarely). We've yet to have a breakin or anything like that, but we've had several false alarms where my wife accidentally set the alarm off... and in those cases, Frontpoint calls you immediately, asks you for a password, and then asks if you need assistance. Of course we don't, but if they can't reach you... which has also happened... they call the next person on the list (my wife). If they can't reach that person, the cops are already on their way while Frontpoint works down the list of family members, neighbors, etc. to let them know there is an incident at the house and the cops are on their way. This has happened a couple times (due to user error). But it's good to know they have our backs if there is ever a real issue. A+ for Frontpoint."

"Robert T. determined that the issue was with Spectrum, my internet service provider, even though Spectrum initially told me there was no issue with their equipment or signal. However, after forcing Spectrum to recheck we found that the problem was in fact a Spectrum issue."
