"I called HomeX. Oscar arrived on Monday morning (on time). I asked if he would come in and take a look at the two drains affected by the stoppage. He did. I then asked if he had a wire long enough to reach through the branch to the main. He did. They has a special running for $68.00. He ran the wire through the line. The drain was cleared. Read on... Prior to calling HomeX I had called another firm. They came and attempted to clean the branch drain but failed to do so. They recommended hydrojetting and quoted a price of $1800.00. They "came down" to $1200.00 but based an past experience I was uncomfortable with the quote and the result of the initial work. By the way... I held a Journeymans plumbing license in the state of Massachusetts for quite a while and worked in the trades for 8 years. HomeX is a company that can be trusted and I would recommend them to anyone in need of this kind of service work."

"I've been using Make It Drain for years. The first time I called Make It Drain was after reading a ton of positivity about their service from my neighbors on the Next Door app and I was not disappointed. My call was returned quickly, Marc and his colleague Ean showed up on time for a Friday afternoon appointment to inspect my hard-to-find-parts-for leaky bathtub faucet. After inspecting it, they said they'd need to call around for the correct part and get back to me with a quote. Marc called back on a Sunday with two options for me so we could get it repaired quickly. I selected the one I wanted and when they showed up with the part to replace, Marc told me they'd gotten it for less than he originally quoted me and passed that savings down to me. Talk about an upstanding business! And to top it off, they even helped clean up the flood in my bathroom when my stupid brother turned the main water back on while they were in the middle of the repair. (Oy.) I've since used them to replace a fancy kitchen faucet and service my tankless water heater. They are always on time and professional, clean up any mess made and have very fair prices."

"They came out once to snake a tub and it seemed ok when they finished but later that night realized I hadn't run it long enough before they left and the draining actually wasn't satisfactory. Called them the next day and they came out and snaked again, under the warranty, and started draining fine. During the process it was recommended that I may want to replace tub drain because it was old. Tony came out a few days later, provided an estimate, and 2 days later his team was here to do the work. What I liked about them was the communication with Angie at the office, their punctuality and customer service in general. That means more to me than the actual work. I have to assume they did good work but I'm not crawling under the house to find out, and, it's not my area of expertise anyway, so fingers crossed. Everything seems to be working great. "They were very fast and had top of the line equipment but I feel like they overcharged me. They even did some upgrades on the sewer main. They were fast , efficient and used best equipment for the job. They put a big improvement by adding sewer line access intake pipes (2) so that you can now clear out sewer Clogs from the back yard intake access pipes without running a snake from inside the bathroom. They did a hydro jet clear out which was expensive but did eliminate the roots which were entangled in the main sewer drain line. That said they did charge very expensive for the job as it was financed thru Syncrony Bank and they did charge it to the max. I should have gotten a senior discount but did not ask as it was emergency rush job which had to be done fast. I Tried to have advanced mechancial do the job first as they are my preferred plumbers and are very reasonable but they declined to do job because they did not want to go up on roof. Then I called clearall."
