Owner Dave Gilbert was happy to work with us In spite of the distance his crew needed to travel. We count ourselves lucky that he agreed to take on this job. He clearly laid out options (hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl plank, carpet), provided suggestions, but left the decisions up to us. (We chose engineered hardwood downstairs and vinyl plank upstairs.) He made an effort to get the materials as soon as possible, since we had a deadline to vacate our temporary quarters. His workers were on time, friendly, efficient, and good at their crafts. We love the end product and highly recommend this company. It had been a long and hard road for us to find our house, and Dave and crew were really a ray of sunshine."

"Empire was very coinvent with their response to quote my carpet project. Lexi the sales rep was very kind and helpful. My only complaint on the customer service side was that I was told I was to receive a discount upon signing, but never did. Quote was reasonable, but hate being lied too. The carpet material is very nice and the installers did a awesome job and cleaned up after nicely as well. I do recommend Empire for their timeliness and craftsmanship."

"When I called for an estimate I was surprised at how quickly Mr. Straus was able to come. I knew the carpeting I wanted and he was able to get it in a reasonable time. (The carpet had to be run specially by the manufacturer.) When my remodel slowed down, he was very flexible about re-scheduling the date of installation to meet my new needs. The installation was painless, with workers arriving exactly when they said they would, cleaning up after themselves, and making seams that were almost invisible, with a single exception. "Javier and his team at Rivera's Fine Flooring did an excellent job installing new hardwood floors in my home.  I was really impressed by how quickly they were able to get everything done and at how great the place looked when they were finished.  They even cleaned everything up and hauled away the waste.  I own a duplex and am in the process of updating both units.  When it comes time to update the second unit, I will definitely be calling these guys to install the floors.  They were easy to work with, were on time and well priced.

"Floors on first replaced all the floors in the house except the bathrooms.  I have a house on a slab with built in cabinets which did not allow building a sub-floor.  Bob worked with me to find the right flooring for our house. I have cats that occasionally mark their territory, so I required a floor that is easy to keep clean.  Bob found me a floor that is waterproof, but not tile.  The floor is a laminate "light wood floor" that looks perfect with both the cherry kitchen cabinets and the black walnut furniture in the rest of the house.
The installers were very skilled, professional and pleasant to have in the house for week of installation.  I love the new floor.  I feel like I have a new house. 
I am waiting for some couple finishing details, I will give an update when those are completed. To date Floors First has been very responsive though a bit delayed because they are a small popular local company.
