"Jodi was the only contractor to be prompt and detailed with his bid. All others talked vaguely about what they were going to do (maybe to add money later on?) or just didn't come back because maybe it was above their skill level? He was also the only one who could accurately describe the expected water damage and what could happen during the repair process. There were some bumps in the road with a worker of his who did not correctly rebuild some areas. Jodi recognized this before I had to say anything and he promised to make it right. Because of the rework he had to do, it added cost to the job but he did not pass those charges along to me. He stayed at his bid price, cutting into his own profits, and he did everything perfect. I'm not a professional carpenter but I can see good and bad work. Jodi explained everything he was doing and why. He even dealt with a couple of my special requests. He went above and beyond what most contractors would have done. He seems proud of the reputation of his business.
