"I have a property that was extremely over grown and they did a fantastic job on it! They communicated with me and the city. Here are before and after photos of the front. I am extremely pleased and I highly recommend."

"Wayne Homes helped us pick out home model, features, etc. Construction started in May 2013 and we took possession in September 2013. Some things were high priced such as non-standard doors, other things were surprisingly inexpensive, such as expanding room sizes. I was totally involved with the planning and kept tabs on every step of construction. I believe the quality of the home and the quality of the build is what the buyer puts into the planning and communication with the company. The biggest negative was being told at late in the planning was that I had to find an excavator for the dig and that I had to get the permits for the septic, electric service, water service, etc. A stressful experience since I knew nothing about such things. But I found an excavator on my own who happened to be a regular player with Wayne Homes and he did a great job and saved us money. Everything worked out in the end, but it was very hectic between signing the contract and the first dig date. I could do the process again with more confidence if I had to, but hopefully I will not have to. <br />"

"I contacted Mark Bailey on Sept 27th, requesting an estimate to have my dead trees cut down and he came out the same day. After he left, I thought about it for a few minutes then gave his office a call and asked them to go ahead and put me on the list. Mark had told me he would send me the proposal but at that time I didn't understand I had to sign it and send it back. Ok, my oversight. Not a big deal. <br /> I got over there and signed the proposal Oct 5th and was told it would be 2-3 weeks until the work would be done. Mark told me he'd come out, probably the day after to mark the trees that were coming down and that was fine. If he came out, I never saw him and I didn't notice anything marked other than the orange spots the electric company had put on a couple of the tree trunks. He also told me he'd give me a day or two notice before work began. <br /> The work was completed over three days. The first day, I got a call from Mark at 7:56am to tell me the crew would be at my property between 9 and 10am. The crew was great. Jeff, Rob and Mel were experienced and knowledgeable and it showed. They put the majority of the cut wood right in my front yard where I wanted it. They took care of 3 trees the first day. They told me they'd be back the next week to do more. <br /> Due to the remnants of hurricane Sandy they crew wasn't back until the following Friday and took down 2 more trees. I didn't get any notice at all that they were coming that particular day. I asked before they left when they would be back and Mel called the office, then told me they'd be back out on Monday, Nov. 5th, which they were. <br /> All in all they did a great job! Thanks guys. <br />"

"Kuhl Outdoor Design did a great job in installing retainer walls for 3 basement egress windows. Taking great care not to damage my yard or the neighbor?s yard, the Kuhl crew hand dug 3 window wells 3 x 4 foot wide x 7 foot deep. Once the window company finished the widow installation, the Kuhl crew returned and finished the retainer wall construction. Walls were built with Unilock Pisa 2 blocks. The workmanship was fantastic and the finished product looks great! <br /> <br /> <br />"

"<br /> <br /> He did a great job for me. He is always out there doing the work himself and never sent a crew out without him. He let me do some personal financing with him and it has been just great. He was always on time. He is extremely professional and curtious. He is just a great worker and guy. No complaints! I would recommend him to anyone."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Sandusky, OH

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
