"Bruce and his team did an excellent job on our remodel from initial contact through design, permitting and construction. He was responsive to our wishes and concerns, proactive in identifying and solving problems, and lived up to his commitments. CDG works almost exclusively in Yorba Linda and has a good working relationship with the City inspectors and understands what they want. His design was very thorough and the budget, once agreed upon was held to. Bruce promised me when they started work that they would stay on our job until it was finished , and he honored that promise. We are very happy with the finished product and recommend CDG without reservation."

"Efrain and David are fantastic! When our contractor was suddenly unable to continue with the job, David took over with a great positive attitude. He persistently worked with the city to get the building permit, finally ending a tedious 10 month process. Crews were here working every day. Each one of them was considerate, conscientious, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. Efrain and David communicated with us most days and were always accessible to us. My ADU is adorable and just what we wanted and I am sure that many contractors could have pulled it off. The important thing about Olalde is that they truly care and honestly want us to be happy."

"Overall my experience with this company was great! The work that was done was really really good! Our contractor who assisted us was Jose. We added a living space and master bedroom to our home. The additions done look as if they were part of my house this whole time. Honestly it looks way better than I expected. The only reason I rated the company a 4.5 was because there was always some kind of miscommunication between our contractor and his workers. Don t get me wrong, things were always resolved, Jose was great at that. But my recommendation to is to make sure communication is #1. That way the customer is not confused or left wondering what will happen next. There was an issue with his floor guy though, he was rude and unprofessional. BUT the reason I am mentioning this is not to put down the company but let you know that we expressed concern for this issue and it was resolved professionally by Jose and it never became an issue again. The quality of work was top notch! His workers were all pretty cool guys and we always felt comfortable of who was coming into our home to do the work. I highly recommend this company for your next big project😊👍🏼"

"Used Chris for a refresh on our house several years ago and when we decided to go bigger, reached out to him first. After discussion, decided to go with not only a bigger house, but an ADU and a larger garage this entailed demolishing the existing garage structure stretching the house back 10 feet and adding a second story and building a two-story ADU in our yard. As I imagine with a lot of projects, this large, the city has been difficult to deal with so make sure that you take that into account when doing something like this. We are currently wrapping the ADU and have finished the garage. Looking to move into the ADU to continue the build out of the house. Chris has been phenomenal along the way and has done a great job with change along the way. "

Needless to say, we chose Newland Construction. From day one, we felt comfortable and at ease. Renovation Project: 1. Moved the small kitchen to our large dining room. 2. Moved dining room to former kitchen ( swapped rooms) 3. Dining room: (former kitchen) removed wall for open concept 4. New flooring 5. Stairs: replaced carpet with laminate, replaced rails 6.
