Get matched with top lightning protection installers or repairers in Santa Barbara, CA

"Overall, I was very satisfied. They were busy, so it took some time to schedule the work, but the issues were not urgent. I called Garafano Electric for an estimate in late December. They came out to provide an estimate within about 10 days. The work was scheduled on a date convenient for me, several weeks later. I needed them to come out for a follow-up visit on the faulty lighting circuit and they scheduled that very quickly. They were able to identify an intermittent problem with one of the circuits and came up with an effective solution. They also recommended a good wireless switch and came up with a clean way to install it without cutting into walls or the ceiling. They did the routine work - replacing outlets and switches - very efficiently. The pricing seemed very fair. I purchased the parts myself and provided them. They offered good options in a couple of situations where unexpected conditions were discovered. I would definitely recommend them and use them again."

"I used them twice and they got everything fixed efficiently. Santa Barbara is a tough place to find quality electricians so I was grateful to have found A-lite."

"They were very professional and did good job. However, the duct work was changed from running along the floor to being above the ground. It was run at waist height, making it difficult to navigate the area and leaving less room for storage. I’m not sure if there was a choice or not, but I wasn’t provided with the option. However, after the installation, our units ran much better."

"live on a corner lot with heavy foot traffic. I selected LA Security Cameras, based on their excellent reviews, to supplement my ACS security system, that didn't require a monthly maintenance fee. George and his LA Security team did an excellent job installing 16 cameras over four years ago. They did a very professional job installing 8 interior and 8 exterior cameras, positioning each camera to my complete satisfaction. They used molding to hide any wires on the interior and exterior. I have had no issues with the cameras since installation. They also set me up with alarm.com, with no monthly fee, to remotely check the status of my alarm from my iPhone, whether it was disarmed, armed stay, or armed away, and where I could make changes from my iPhone if I forgot to set the alarm after I had left. Also, I was set up with Super Live Plus, where I could view my 16 cameras from my iPhone, besides having two monitors in my house, one a TV, where I could switch back and forth from TV to cameras. The hard drive was set up in my basement. If I needed any assistance from LA Security, trying to view from my monitor from live to taped footage, they assisted me without charge. I recently changed my iPhone 10 to the Apple 14 Pro Max, and I need George's team to assist me in resetting my Alarm.com and Super Live Plus on my new iPhone. They assisted me with no additional charge. I highly recommend LA Security Camera. You won't be disappointed."

"I had some lighting controllers which were old (previous homeowner had installed), that I wanted checked. Also, I needed the circuit breaker to hot tub checked. The controllers were no longer functional, so will budget to have them replaced in near future. Hot tub circuit breaker was fine, can now have someone come repair hot tub. The electricians were nice, helpful and professional."

"I lost power in the back half of my home, and after being given the run around by my previous electrician, I decided to search Angie's list for an alternate electrician. After a few minutes of browsing, I stumbled upon Raymond and specifically chose him because of his ridiculously high Angie's list rating. After speaking to Raymond, we made an appointment and, to my surprise, he showed up early. This was a great sign since I'm used to servicing professionals either: 1) showing up late, or 2) giving me a 4-hour window and still arriving late. So far, so good. On Raymond's first visit he did a great job assessing the problem and gave me an estimate to fix the electrical short, but he also recommended other electrical repairs that would bring my old 1955 home up to code. After reviewing his proposal, I was a bit depressed since I knew I couldn’t afford all of the repairs that I knew I needed to tackle in the near future, so I decided to give him a call to let him know. Raymond was very understanding and offered to come out to my home for a second time to hunt for the electrical short in my home. On his second visit, he arrived early (again!) and quickly found a shorted electrical outlet that was causing the power loss in the back half of my house. He quickly replaced my shorted outlet and patiently educated me on a few DIY repairs that he recommended me tackling to help safeguard the safety of my family. I was very relieved and happy to have found such an honest and proficient electrician. I highly recommend Raymond and I will definitely be reaching out to him going forward for future repairs/upgrades. Thanks again Raymond for all your help!"
