"Jared and the team are wonderful. They were very professional, thorough, helpful, and hard working. They went above and beyond. I was not expecting them to repaint when they did the re-construction after the mold removal, but to my surprise, they had even matched my paint! This is an honest and dependable company and I recommend them highly. Thank you!!"

"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"It usually takes them a few days to come out unless it is a dire emergency. The service to me is pricey. The water is fabulous. You need annual upkeep. They are very neat and tidy."

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

"The door: our previous door was SO old and had no weather stripping left and had a big gap under the bottom where cold and hot air came into the house. Bill came over, took quick measurements, and explained the differences in types of doors he could get. We made a quick decision and he came back once more before ordering the door to confirm his measurements, which I thought was extremely professional. Bill doesn't do any painting--as he says, he sticks to his strengths and I respect that. I'd rather have a handyman who is up front about what they do best and what they don't do so well so I don't have a poorly done job. <br> <br>Light fixtures: Our previous fixture flickered SO bad, sometimes it wouldn't even turn on at all. Bill replaced both of them and now the kitchen has great lighting. <br> <br>Faucet handle: Our cold faucet handle had come off in our downstairs powder room. I was sure we would need to get a new sink fixture but luckily, Bill was able to fix it! <br> <br>Lights in dining room: The bulb had burned out and when I replaced it, the switch did not activate it. Bill came out and checked it out, checking the fixture and the switch before informing me I needed a new fixture. I picked one out and he came out and installed it the next day. <br> <br>Light in hall: a minor thing but still very appreciated--the hall light at the bottom of my stairs burned out but is about 12' in the air and far out of reach from my 3' step stool. While out working on other things, Bill also changed that light bulb for me. <br> <br>Water Heater: we are currently selling our home and the water heater was not up to code w being double strapped, Bill came out and got it done. <br> <br>Bill is extremely flexible with scheduling and timing. He's been out on a Saturday and during the week. When my husband and I have something for Bill to do, we just leave our key and he works in our home while we are at work. Bill is extremely trust worthy and I have no problem with him being in my home while I am not. I look forward to sharing his name with others who need work done and using his services again in the future. <br> <br> <br>"

"Overall, they did a good job. They are friendly and very helpful. we had a little mess to clean up after, but to be fair, I didn't complain -- if i had they would have come back. Preferably they would have come back to check on their own."

"The inspection went smooth as could possibly go. Butch was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through every step of the inspection. He took the time to explain to me what his recommendations were and why it was important that I address these issues with the seller. He was very patient with me, answering all of my questions and making sure that I had full knowledge of the home I was about to purchase. He was very personable and provided me with my home inspection in a very efficient time frame. I would definitely recommend him to others and use him in the future."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Santa Maria, CA

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
