"This was one of the most frustrating experiences that I've had as a homeowner and a review that I write with very mixed emotions.  I will start by saying that my pool looks great and I'm overall satisfied with the work done.  However, the reason that I went with this company was the reviews on this site talked about how involved the owner was with the process and the great communication and service.  This was not my experience at all.  I don't want someone having the same experience that I did because they didn't have a counterpoint.
Shannon the owner was not involved at all.  Subcontractors did every part of the work and he didn't show up at all except to fix issues caused by poor workmanship on the pavers(they were sloping toward the pool in 3 places) and drains.  During a job like that, communication is an important factor to the homeowner.  The Pool company may have done hundreds of pools, but this is my first. We never knew when there would be work done or not and couldn't seem to get any information without repeated phone calls. When I discover an issue like the sloping of the tiles which is of major concern, I would like to be able to discuss it with the owner as the installation people tried to pull a slight of hand trick on me with a level and then exited stage right without fixing it at all.  However on most calls, I just got voicemail which normally isn't a big deal.  The problem is that to this day, neither Shannon or his salesperson John has EVER called me back.   I don't like having to chase someone to get a response.  I wouldn't say they were avoiding my calls as they were always received warmly, so maybe they just never check their voicemail.
It's been a very frustrating experience and it may be that they were busy with another job and I got lost in the shuffle.  However, my money is still green and I'd like to think that my job, small as it may be, is a little more important than I was made to feel.   
All in all, I'm pretty satisfied. The price was good, the pool looks good, their communication just stinks.

"We called from estimate and Chris Tricke showed up 15 minutes early. He explained the product and the process in a very professional manner and service put and pressure on us. We called him the same usually and agreed to the installation. On installation day he showed up 30 minutes early and immediately set to wash after servicing the entire installation process with me. We made a couple of adjustment and he finished the work within the time from he promised. He lift my pat in cleaner than when he started. Bravo! Very high recommendation!"

"The crew foreman explained the process from start to finish. He did warn us that the grinding would make  a lot of dust, but the crew was very diligent in cleaning up after each day's work. They showed up everyday and put in a full days work. The plumbing job was very neat. The tile work and travertine looks great. Best of all the pool looks like a million bucks.

"I have thought about this review for a while. After receiving quotes from multiple contractors, we hired Olympus to install a saltwater free form pool in January 2015. The time frame we were told was 8 weeks. The pool was finally completed in May. Contractors didn't show up, parts of the process were delayed because "the inspector couldn't make it out", didn't pass inspection numerous times because of compliance issues. I informed the company of the spillway granite being cracked prior to installation, and they still installed it. After calling a bunch of times to get it fixed, no one showed. Figured I would just deal with it. Once it was FINALLY completed, the pool looked beautiful (minus the cracked spillway). Our pool service has had an issue regulating the salt and chlorine levels since the installation of the pool. A year later, just before our warranty was up, I called because our water level didn't seem to be maintained and our pool cleaning service told us that it was probably due to a leak. I called Olympus, they sent someone out to fix the spillway (finally!) and the guy they sent out told me there was no leak (although he didn't even really look) and that our pool cleaning service was just not good and didn't know what he was doing. I was shocked and upset that he had the nerve to insult someone that he didn't know. (Our pool cleaning service is top notch). They did fix the spillway at this time, but it took at least 2 weeks to send someone out to do the work. Once we figured that Olympus was not going to fix the later level problem, our cleaning service brought in his own recommended specialist who found a leak by the skimmer within minutes of being here. The cell in the system also wasn't producing nearly like it should. Olympus didn't help to fix the issue and the communication was less than acceptable. We dealt with Ashley at their office who was helpful for us, but no one else seemed to know what was happening during the process. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The design is beautiful but that is it."
