"We are very pleased with our new granite kitchen countertop. Everyone at Premier was very helpful and did a great job--Kemper who helped us select a gorgeous slab and saw us through the whole process, Bob who did a great layout which we were able to review before the cutting, Artie and Scottie who did a perfect installation, and all the others who were involved in some way. We definitely recommend Premier."

"I can't say enough about this company and their professionalism, their communication and their overall hard work to make this project so smooth. We had an entire kitchen renovation and from Day 1, they made the process easy. They were incredibly responsive, they followed up on all of our requests and needs and they were quick to fix or adjust any changes we made...even in the final hours! Noelle was an absolute joy to work with and the installers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We'd use them again without question."

"My wife and I wanted to replace 4 hard to clean kitchen counter tops with smooth soap stone. Saw the Origins shop from the road and on a whim decided to stop in and check their selection and prices. The office manager, Cheryl, answered all our questions and brought up issues we hadn't yet thought of (like what type of new sink did we want (undermount, drop in, dual mount, farmhouse, etc.) and the pros/cons of each). She knows the business and gladly answered our questions throughout the process.
We stopped in the showroom in late November and had the counters installed about two to three weeks later. We were also given the opportunity to select a particular slab of soap stone from their supplier in Maryland but opted not to. We had the option to purchase a new sink/faucet from Origins but decided to buy them at Lowe's. No particular reason for this. I'm sure the Origins-provided sinks/faucets would have been fine. Origins' counter top / installation prices were very competitive and was thousands less than the one other local provider we called.
The measurement technician who came to our home, Grace, and project manager, Chris, were very professional. Installation for the 4 tops took about 3 - 4 hours and the installers arrived on the early side of the delivery window. Besides the tops they installed our undermount sink and created holes for the new faucet and soap dispenser. Again, very professional service.
In my experience you can tell if a company is good to work with (or not) by their willingness to thoroughly and promptly answer a customer's questions. Origins passed with flying colors and I would not hesitate to recommend them and use their services again. Thank you!

"Once our granite slab was sent to them, they contacted us right away to come out and view the kitchen,
they came out and measured and about a week later they came out and installed. They were very professional. They don't use the laser templating, which is why their prices is cheaper. Overall the fit of the granite was close to perfect. There is one spot where the measurement wasn't exact but they were able to fill the area with something and it isn't noticable to the average person. I know its there because i saw them do it but someone who doesn't know about it wouldn't notice it.
The seam work is great - they really pay attention to detail making sure the flow of the stone matches up. Great Job!

"I have the most beautiful kitchen ever. It is a dream to work work in and the workmanship is simply amazing!
Les and Eric designed amazing work space and Tim provided almost artistry in his installation. There is not one thing that has come loose or was uneven - it was so worth all of the effort and the wait!
I will say this - it took longer than I had anticipated and with three kids in the house - that was hard. But when it was done? Oh my - so gorgeous and wonderful!

"The installation only took three days and looks great. We went with white to keep the house cooler since our main living area is south facing. My only gripe is that it took a while between delivery and installation. However, Roman helped me with that. I'll hire Exceptional Exteriors for my next project for sure."

"I debated writing this review for a while. I hired SL Contractors based on the reviews and meeting Willis. I wish the ending had a better story but feel I need to share my experience so others may be warned. I’ll start with the positive. Willis genuinely seems like a nice person and the floors came out beautiful. Now for the not so positive. Willis was consistently late. Every appointment he showed up late, this should have raised a red flag for me but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. My project was way behind schedule and over budget. He originally told me 1 ½ weeks. I had told him I needed to go out of town for business on 3 separate dates and we built those days into the scope of work from the start. I ended up cancelling 2 of the 3 trips to give him extra time. He still went past the agreed date by an additional week and half. He worked alone for the majority of the project and would show up on most days between 11-1 leaving around 5. Half way through the project he gave me a slip for additional work/materials. None of which we discussed prior or I had any idea was coming. I sent him an email saying I was concerned and needed to ensure no more surprises and we had to stay on budget. He said the additional materials was because I had selected a more expensive granite for the countertops. I was a bit confused as I had told him from the very start what granite I wanted and we met at the granite yard to select the slab (he was almost 2 hours late for the appointment). The granite was scheduled for a Friday when I was going to be out of town for the last trip which I absolutely could not cancel but I changed my flight and came home the night prior to accommodate. However, he ordered the wrong sink and had to reschedule the granite install which I found out during the trip so I changed my flight for nothing. He told me he scheduled the install for the following Friday. The Tuesday night prior to the Friday new install date I told him I had an early appointment Wednesday I could not miss and he needed to be here because additional hardwood was being delivered, he had estimated incorrect square footage and I had to order more (which he agreed to pay half for the additional materials). He said he would be here. As I was walking out the door for the appointment the granite installers were just about to knock on the door. No sign of Willis. They said the install was scheduled for Wednesday not Friday. I called Willis and he said he was on his way and would be there in 45 min. He showed up about 1 ½ hrs later and the installers had left. He did have them come back in the afternoon. However, when they arrived they showed me the invoice to show me the install date. The invoice was for about half what was in the proposal with the contract but the square footage was more. Willis had calculated the square footage incorrectly for the granite as well as the flooring. At the end of the project he had more additional charges. I pointed out the difference in granite price which with the additional he was trying to charge me was well over double. I understand a mark up so he can cover his costs and for his time organizing however over double is not fair. He tried to say he had to demo the old countertops but again I pointed out that was already a line item. He also tried to charge me for a faucet but I had went out and bought the faucets for the powder room and kitchen myself. We discussed and I thought we came up with a fair agreement where we split the additional costs and we both felt comfortable, I still feel his miscalculations should not be put on me but I didn’t want to be unreasonable. Again, he was way over the contracted date of completion and still over our agreed upon cost. He told me he would call for the dumpster pick up and it would be removed within 3 days. After 4 days I texted him letting him know it wasn’t picked up and that once I had a painter I would send him pictures of the before/after. He responded with “ok”. I sent another text the next day asking for the number of the company for the dumpster as it wasn’t picked up and got no response. I waited 2 days and then sent a text again, no response. I called him and got voicemail. I then got a call from someone saying Willis was not authorized to deduct the amount we had agreed upon and therefore they cancelled the dumpster pick up and I would need to take care of it myself, both cost and scheduling. She wouldn’t give me a number or even the name of the company. She said Willis had given me a discount already. However the discount did not come close to the additional charges for his miscalculations. She also mentioned he didn’t charge me for the additional labor. I explained we had a contracted end date so the additional time was not my fault and he miscalculated that too. There were some additional line items I did agree to pay because again, I wanted to be fair. For example, he added costs for putting the baseboards back on and rehanging closet doors which I thought should be included but let that go as it was not specified in the agreement so I felt that was on me, there were a few other little things I just said okay on. I looked up online the dumpster pickup and called them. I found out that he had over filled the dumpster bags and I would need to order another bag and remove the overflow myself. This was the final straw for me. I was not going to write a review at all and let it go but I feel others should be informed when making the decision to hire Willis. Again, his work seems great but I question a contractor that miscalculates measurements at every turn and tries to over charge for his mistakes. Also to not even tell me they were canceling the dumpster (which was a line item in our agreement) was just outright dishonest and unfair. Now I am concerned that if anything goes wrong with the flooring he won’t make it right. It is disappointing to end the project with doubt and mistrust."
