"Our system was working poorly (running all the time) and a warm wave (105°) was forecast for the next 7 days.  A representative came out to service the unit on the 3rd workday after we called.  He found the unit in need of major work and in view of its age we elected to go for a replacement unit.  There was no push, no "hard sell".  Our options were fully explained.  On the same day as the service call, a Service Manager came out and explained everything.  We closed a deal on a Thursday and the following Monday, the unit was installed.  A week later the duct seal work was done.  Everyone we encountered was courteous and polite.  They were efficient and professional.  They called before coming to give us a few minutes to tidy up.  They cleaned up everything before leaving, including recoating the places on the roof that were marred during the job. (the roof coatings were a little soft in the 100+° heat.)  I don't know how their prices compared since I don't choose a contractor/vendor on that basis believing that the lower the  bid, the higher the probability of low  quality product and service.  Unless future experience dictates otherwise, they will remain our vendor of choice for all things related to heating/cooling.
