The physical work went very well. West Coast Roofing announces on their website a 10% discount for new customers. This is allegedly included in the estimate but only as a kind of footnote at the very end of the estimate. The customer does not see exactly how the discount in included in the calculation of the estimate. Be aware."

"I called Intelligent Design in the morning and asked if there was any hope of a service call on the same day. The service rep asked if the situation was an emergency and I had to honestly say no. They has several emergencies at the time but they would try to get to get a technician out. At approximately 4:00 PM two technicians were at my door. They took pictures of the problem with the ac unit so there was no doubt of the reason for the failure. They had part they needed and the air conditioner running in 20 minutes. The Techs were just great. The price of repair was reasonable. They had to clean the evap coils and replace the inline current controller. I will of course call them if we have another problem with our A C"

When I contacted them via Angie’s list, I was called within 2 days to discuss the issue with our roof. An appointment was made. I was also informed as to a possible future date when any possible needed work could be done. I received confirmation by email, as well as a telephone reminder. I was also informed of the time and the name of the representative coming. I was also informed promptly of a change in the representative who was coming. The rep called 30 minutes before arriving and was on time. He was polite, knowledgeable and did not try to sell me a service I did not need. A business gets full marks from me if they come when they say they will come, turn up on time and are professional in there interaction once they arrive. There is nothing worse than waiting all day for a business rep to turn up and at the end of the day there is a “no show”. A day wasted. So many businesses have no idea regarding customer communication and service. But Lyons roofing gets full marks for this."

"They got busy and were not available when I contacted them a few months after their initial estimate to perform additional roof work. When I called again, I was told they would need to provide a new estimate since a 4 or 5 months had passed. I sent a request by email and got no response. They never responded to follow up phone call or email requesting a new estimate. I hired someone else to actually perform the repair work to the roof tile and skylights, so I can't comment on the quality of their actual work."

"I called to have my skylights repaired and while here they repaired a 20' piece of fascia board that was dry rotted, it turned out I only needed new bubbles on 3 of my skylights ( saved me a lot of money). I have used this company in the past and always have gotten the royal treatment in quality of work and communication. I would highly recommend for any roofing repairs"

A project for Terra Nova Roofers who rose to the occasion, figured out the unusual issues and provided perfect and permanent solutions along with the new roof and for CONSIDERABLY less than quoted by another Co. Also, I took the opportunity of having two skylight tubes installed in dark inner bathrooms of my home. They have been fantastic for energy savings, pure enjoyment, and no leaks or problems whatsoever. I couldn't believe how accurately he installed these. Not an easy task--but he made it seem so.
