In 2019, we hired them to replace an outdoor spigot/hose bib and copper plumbing, which cost $309. That installation ultimately failed within a few years due to what a technician on a recent visit confirmed was an improper initial installation. Fast forward to our recent service call: a technician came out, diagnosed the issue, and quoted us over $700 to replace a simple hose bib with no additional parts required. After questioning the price, they ?discounted? it to $600. Feeling uneasy about the pricing, we asked them to stop the work so we could get a second opinion. Only then did the technician suddenly offer to honor the original 2019 price of $309?raising serious questions about where these pricing numbers were coming from and how such a drastic ?discount? could be offered on the spot. "Before installing a mini-split, the sales person told me that I'd need to cut down an interior shelf to a specific height. I paid a handyman $400 to do exactly what the sales person instructed. Later on, N.E.T.R. came and did the installation; however, AFTER the installation, a technician told me that they hadn't accounted for the vent opening and closing and that the shelf would need to be further cut down. As you can imagine, this type of service is rather ridiculous. If they knew that the shelf would need further cutting, they should have NOT installed the unit. I have called N.E.T.R. six (6) times in three weeks, and no one has called me back about this issue. After paying for the unit and for a handyman, it's ridiculous that I have AC that is compromised because no one with the company thought to properly measure the space so that the work by the handyman could be done once. At this point, I'd like for N.E.T.R. to take care of this for me."

I later realized I had not been provided with an invoice, so I called the company directly at 781 438 4114. The person who answered the phone emailed me an invoice. The invoice listed an HVAC diagnostic fee of $69.00, followed by ?HYD 170,? with no price or itemized breakdown provided. I understand that professional services and parts can incur significant costs, it is unreasonable that the part alone could account for the entire charge without any supporting documentation.
