"Tom Sheehy devised a clever and workable solution to my unique problem with a rotten balcony. I wanted it removed altogether, but that left me with a doorway leading from a second floor bedroom into to thin air. The rotting balcony door was also leaking cold air and moisture into the bedroom during the winter. Tom's guys removed all of the rotten wood, installed a storm door that opens at the top to let in air if desired, and added a protective wooden barrier/railing to prevent anyone from inadvertently walking out and becoming injured. Their solution is aesthetically pleasing. Other contractors either did not call me back, looked at the job in horror, or asked ME what I wanted done. (I had no idea, I was a lawyer, not a carpenter.). I was so happy with Richie and Shane's work that I've asked Tom for an estimate on painting the exterior of the house. I recommend TA Exteriors without reservation. I was not in a particular hurry to get the job done as long as it would be done before the cold weather set it. Tom was booked solid for about a month before becoming available to do the job, but that was not an issue for me. It was well worth the wait."
