Darin met with us promptly and we had a very interactive conversation about what we wanted, with Darin making lots of suggestions about options we could include in the refacing, like some additional cabinet work to enhance what was there, rollouts, etc. He showed us our options in refacing. It was easy to get excited about all the things we could do.

Darin also provided us with a bid that was quite a bit lower than the one we accepted. I know from his reviews on Angie's List that Darin does fine work; we just chose to go with another company for a number of reasons, none of them Darin's fault -- though it might have helped some if we'd had his bid sooner than 7-8 days after his visit, as our other bidders all responded sooner after their visits. I'm sure we could have prodded him to be a little quicker, but our experience in hiring contractors in this post-housing-bubble economy is that many of them still are not very busy. We, however, do find it difficult to find the time to do such close tracking.

I definitely would consider Darin for other remodeling in our house, though."

"Paramount Granite Company was a joy to work with! They offered an incredibly reasonable and detailed estimate (including options and their costs) within a day. When I visited their offices, I was treated with respect and courtesy. Barb answered my questions and showed me their slabs of granite (as well as the sinks and faucets they offer). I had already viewed slabs of granite at the various warehouses, but they had some beautiful pieces to choose from. I ended up picking a gorgeous piece of St. Cecelia granite from their selection, which just happened to be in the least expensive category.
The whole process was made easy by Angie's prompt and helpful responses to my emails. Paramount was flexible with my schedule when we needed to postpone the installation by a week. On the day of installation, the workers arrived on time and worked quickly and excellently. I was impressed when they discovered (from a spec sheet they brought along) that the particular slide-in range we had chosen needed rounded corners for the opening. The worker finished the job except for this part, drove back to the office and returned within the hour with the rounded piece to complete the job perfectly!
Paramount Granite Company is a first-rate company. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends. I am simply thrilled with my countertops and the excellent experience I had with Paramount.

He was very knowledgeable and spent as much time with us as we needed to understand the process, all the costs involved, and our legal rights. He has already placed orders for the materials needed for the project and we will add another review once the work has been completed....9/27/24 The work has been completed now and we are thrilled with the results. Andre was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive throughout the project, clearly laid out the costs for us, was flexible when we wanted to make changes such as choosing a different backsplash design than we originally picked. He also installed a new kitchen sink/water filter as part of the project and went to a lot of trouble to make sure it was set up correctly and working smoothly. "The process went smoothly and the counters look great. I was impressed with their display and slab room. We had 75 square feet of quartz installed and they did a good job through the process. David was our rep, Christian measured and Jeff installed. Each of them was able to answer the questions I had and they did a really good job on the seams. I did not realize there were so many different options and all options. Have charges for that particular option. The only concern I had with the install is I did not like the way they mounted the sink to the underside of the quartz with silicon and two boards one on each side. I actually took the boards off and replaced them to cover the full width of the sides of the sink. I would certainly use them again but would make I paid closer attention to how the specifics of how they would install the product."

"Sam did an excellent job repairing our siding.  Since the manufacturer no longer manufactured the exact style, Sam suggested that he could take some existing pieces from the side of the house that had a lot shrub coverage for the repair and replace with a close match.  The replaced pieces are hardly noticeable and hidden by the shrubs. 

His painter also did a great job.  Both gentlemen are friendly and easy to work which is a huge plus from my wife's perspective."

"First, the sales representative, Jaime, was exceptional. Very helpful in selecting the granite countertops and laminate flooring. We also needed some carpentry done to our kitchen. He suggested a person, who also did a perfect job. The granite countertops were installed last week. Travis and Zach were marvelous. Very professional and thoughtful to our needs. They did a wonderful job. Such craftsmanship. They were on time and cleaned up when they were finished. Last Thursday and Friday we had laminate flooring installed. Steve, Erik and Larry were just great. They removed our old carpeting and pad. They installed our laminate flooring. They did a wonderful job. Just beautiful. They were on time and cleaned up upon completion. They even stayed late (Friday afternoon) to help us move our heavy furniture. Very much appreciated. We are thinking of doing our bathrooms and bedrooms. We will definitely call 651 Carpets again."
