"The job was quoted by the salesman and then the person doing the work didnt do what the salesman had quoted. I had to go up and check the work in order to get the invoice adjusted. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THEIR WORK . then the salesman came back out and noticed the installer didnt do some things , so in the end they have bad communication between sales and installers. Make a list of things they said they were going to do and then verify that they did them because they wont tell you and then just send the bill."

"As a person in the plumbing trades both new construction and service work I have come to appreciate the skills of someone who does a craft full time and is encouraged to develop skills to make it “their” full time occupation and career. Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. That why we use them as a plumbing company and recommend them to our valued clients. "Bathroom wet space (tub) remodel with Five Star Baths went smoothly for the most part! The transformation is stunning! The quality of the work is exceptional—everything looks polished and feels durable. Communication was somewhat challenging. It was difficult to find a suitable time to connect and discuss the project in detail within my work hours and the hours they have available. Additionally, the final inspection took longer than expected to schedule. I had to personally reach out to coordinate a time that would work and had the expectation that someone would reach out within the next few weeks after the renovations. While this added some extra steps to the process, once the inspection was arranged, the team was efficient in completing it. Overall, I’m thrilled with the end result and would still recommend their services!"

"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Ari Erickson (no relation to me) offered selections from his preferred vendors, but we had full latitude to shop on our own for all tile and fixtures. He and his subcontractors kept us fully apprised at all stages of the project, arrived promptly throughout the course of the work, responded promptly to our texts and emails, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. My highest recommendation: I always seek at least four bids for a major project, but I would forego that process and hire Landson Construction again for future building/remodeling projects, and would encourage friends and family to do the same."
