However the reasons for the low rating are: 1 Initial incomplete bids 2 upcharges on most projects 3)installations of hardware in wrong places 4 incomplete project 5 double charge on recent bid 6 loss of roughly $1000 on last project Please DM me for specific details."

The first time, the stain wasn't compatible with our wood. The second time it rained unexpectedly. The third time was beautiful. "Great! We had to wait several months because it was their busy time of year but that worked okay because we needed to save up. Bill communicated via email and text, which was helpful. It was the most expensive bid we got but they felt confident they could remove all the solid color stain and recommended a semi-solid stain over the top. The deck looks BRAND NEW! We thought about replacing it but so glad we didn't take that drastic measure. The crew of 2 (Ryan was the lead) were punctual and cleaned up after each day (it was a 2 full day job). They had to take off some stair risers to get all the stain off; I felt like most companies would have skipped that extra step and just say "we did the best we could". We were so pleased with the outcome that I would definitely use them again and recommend highly!"

"They did an excellent job. They adhered to my instructions and wishes, right down to the details I'd asked them to do. There were no spills on my carpet or linoleum (there was no furniture in the house at the time), nor on my outside staircase or in the yard. My garbage disposal and sink were not gummed up with dumped paint (as other contractors have done in the past, out of laziness). They were extremely meticulous in masking off everything. In fact, for a 2000sf townhouse, the only spot of overspray was a tiny 1"x2" area on one window (easily scraped off with a razor blade), a phenomenal feat considering all the work they'd done. I will definitely use Absolute Painting again in the future, for my rentals and my own personal residence."
