"At our request, Mr. Bergen preformed inspections of both chimneys on our 100+ year-old home. Inspection disclosed both were in need of demolition and rebuilding from below the roofline. We contracted the job to Mr. Bergen's company (Professional Chimney Services). The work as done in a most professional manner...Scaffolding was assembled and the chimneys were demolished and rebuilt from below the roofline to their previous height including new brick, mortar, liners and top caps. Mr. Bergen selected a brick which closely matched the original color preserving the appearance of the chimneys. Both chimneys were re-flashed and waterproofed and animal caps were installed. All construction equipment was removed and the area was thoroughly cleaned of all construction debris."

"My 6-year-old house, with roofing installed on original construction, developed a roof leak. I had water dripping in my family room near my fireplace, with more rain on the way. Ugh. I noticed some buckled shingles on the shoulder roof sections on either side of my chimney chase. I called in Ultimate Roofing to take a look. Tom was great. He came out the day I called and sealed the questionable shingles I pointed out. He then took the initiative: Without my asking, he walked my entire roof, inspected it, and sealed some other random things here and there. The fee was very reasonable. He correctly (as it turns out) pointed out that the repairs he made might not explain the leak I was seeing, and to please call him back if the problem was not solved. With the next rain storm, the leak continued. I called Tom back, and he responded promptly. He sealed some more things in my chimney cap area, and would not accept payment for the second visit despite my best attempts to pay him. The second visit did the trick! Serious rain storm this weekend, and no leak! Tom is a stand up guy, who really cares about getting a job done right. He was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Just outstanding. The next time I have roofing needs, I will definitely work with Ultimate Roofing again."

"Tom and his crew  (zack and E Jay) arrived in time , had all the supplies. ready and started  the job. <br>Once they were up there realized that there was extra work to be done replacing all the wood at top since it was rotten under the existing chase top. They replaced ,took pictures of the whole process as a prove and put the new stainless steal chase top based on what I wanted , the respected my opinion and answered my questions. <br>The chimney sweep was good the guys inside the house were careful and didn't leave any traces after they finish, great clean up and gave me tips on the upkeep since is a different system that the average chimney. <br>I am very happy with their service."

"We recently had our siding done by Gunner Roofing and can’t say enough good things. We had our consultation with Andrew and he was honest, not pushy, and even enthusiastic about the project. He was patient and answered multiple rounds of questions to make us feel as comfortable and secure as possible. When we decided to give the siding project to them, they worked with us step by step. We received line item details, mock ups, and were even able to get their own personal/professional input on decisions. "I called Tim because of problems with leaks around the chimney that were not solved when a roofer replaced the roof and did a poor job fitting new shingles into old flashing, and due to cracks in the mortar between the stones and loose stones that may have contributed to the leaks. Tim was great to work with. I had to wait a while to get the work done because he was booked up, and also had to reschedule once due to weather, but the job went well and I'm satisfied with the result. It was planned to be 1 days work, but ran over into a couple hours a second day. Tim probably did a bit more work than originally planned due to the condition of the chimney (more loose and deteriorating brick discovered once Tim ground out old mortar and removed the old flashing). He repointed the chimney by grinding out all the old mortar and replacing, reset some stones and replaced some brick than came loose, and replaced all the flashing and a few roofing shingles. He also applied a sealant to the crown. Tim also installed a new cap, and recommended some additional work I could do myself (applying a sealant after the mortar had time to set, he told me what to use and where to get it), and described other work that could be done, including installing a top damper and new stainless flue liner. Tim did a good job, I'm satisfied with the result. The leaks I had seem to be fixed, and the result looks good. The only thing Tim didn't do that he said he would was to use copper flashing. He actually installed aluminum, but it looks good and is installed well, and should hold up. I was happy with Tim's work and would recommend him."

"We chose Matchless a few months ago after receiving three quotes to do an installation of a gas fireplace insert into our 1870 home. All three proposed the exact same insert model. We chose Matchless because they performed a detailed analysis to produce the quote and offered six month 0% financing. Matchless was not the least expensive quote we received ... we chose them because they offered professionalism AND a reasonable quote. We had numerous preparatory discussions with their engineer at the office (John) ... he was always available and returned calls promptly. John was a good indication of what was to come at installation time. The installers arrived at the promised date/time. In short, this installation (the marble fireplace) presented numerous difficulties (removing the existing glued-on and bolted cast iron insert INTACT, integrating both gas and electric in the basement and ensuring that the new insert fit well). The difficulties presented by this old home were no match for Shane. He faced each difficulty with absolute professionalism. The installation consumed the entire day. We closely watched the entire process as we were concerned about preserving the existing insert as well as preserving the marble fireplace - all went well. We could not be more satisfied with how Matchless performed for us. We called and thanked Bill, their General Manager and offered our gratitude to an excellent company."
