What finally convinced me to get an estimate from Veritas was a neighborhood recommendation I received while asking for an HVAC company referral through the -NextDoor- neighborhood social media website. I contacted several area companies and received estimates, but after meeting Adam I was convinced his company was the one I would go with. Adam is very professional and honest. He did not try to --upsell-- me with features and equipment that I did not need. He asked me key questions and recommended the Heil equipment level I needed based on my answers. Adam is a competent, experienced craftsman, and his prices are fair. His competency and experience were evident throughout the installation and equipment start up process. Adam was very efficient and he has an excellent work ethic. Adam was willing to work with me with the installation time frame as I was not ready to install for 4 months after signing my contract. Adam --locked in-- my pricing with a 50% deposit, and performed my installation as per my schedule (there was a 10% price hike coming at the beginning of 2019). Veritas Heating and Cooling is now my go-to HVAC Company! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

We have used ASTAR for many years to service our central air.  On June 30th we had a bad thunderstorm that sent a power surge through our home and fried our central air, whole house fan and some other outlets.  ASTAR came and we were originally told that it would be approx. 3-4 weeks and take 2 days to install the new system because they were all booked up. We were ok with that since the weather for the next couple of weeks was going to be in the high 70's. 

The following week the weather changed and it was going to be warmer.  Knowing we had no central air ASTAR dropped off at our home, 2 brand new window air conditioners! WOW!  They would have dropped off as many as we wanted but really only needed them for 2 of the bedrooms. Don't know of any other company that would have done that!  Now the following week (7/13) we had totally forgot the we had relatives from out of state coming to spend a week with us (7/22-7/29) and the weather was going to be brutally hot!  We called ASTAR and explained our situation and are happy to report that they came on Saturday, July 18th and did the entire installation in one day!  They put an extra guy on so they could get the job done!  It has been over a month now of hot and humid weather and the system has been on since they installed it! We have noticed that this new system does a better job at keeping the house cool then the old one which was only 10yrs old.  We highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for our preventive maintenance.  We would have given them a rating of A++ if it was offered!

"We decided to add central air to our house. I called sure-temp as they installed our furnace 4 years ago. Based on my furnace experience, I expected a quote from a polite, professional person and that is exactly what I got. Interestingly enough, I mentioned to the estimator that I felt that Sure Temp was very reasonable with their products and pricing. He said quite bluntly that they were not necessarily the cheapest but that they worked hard to support everything that they sell. To be safe, I had 2 other companies do an assessment. While a month and a half later I have yet to hear from one company, the second was $200.00 more for a similarly featured competitive model. Add the 36 month interest free financing and I am happy. To be honest, the estimators from all 3 companies were professional in their work.
Ok. Back to sure temp. The quote came to me within 2 days. After doing my due diligence, I contacted Sure Temp to confirm, got approved and within a week the install was completed. Talk about fast! The installers arrived early and were pleasant and professional. They cleaned up after themselves very well.
From the initial call through completion, everyone I came into contact with at this firm was never anything but polite, friendly and professional. I would recommend them highly.

"CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
