"Wonderful electricians! I hired this company to install new electrical wiring to my 2nd floor bedrooms, as my old wiring was knob and tube and needed replacement. They were very professional and gave me a good price, I am very pleased with the installations!"

"Wow, Schaine fixed the issue with the 17 yr old Hotpoint oven, on 5-15-18 He arrived at 3:30 pm reviewed my oven, gave the quote and I agreed. He then set his timer and he finished that job in about 1/2 hour and even had time after he finished my first concern to put freon in my ducan central air system. He comepleted both jobs with paperwork and recommendations and tips by 4:25pm!!!! Schaine is very knowledgeable, prepared, skilled and very polite and efficient. I'd definitely use International Appliance again if they have the same cabiber of service person as Schaine!"

"I asked the mechanic how much this would cost before he came he told me between 140 and 180. When he came and took them an hour to do it he changed out both rollers and my belt. Price came to 160. I would definitely get him again for all my appliance repairs."

"Curt came to our house and went over a variety of replacement options. We did our due diligence and checked other local Contractors. Scott offered the best all around deal for the Trane system we went with. They were able to schedule our install quickly and did a great job - couldn't have went any smoother. We were very happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend Scott for heating and a/c work.

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Schwenksville, PA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
