"I'd like to express my disappointment with the recent service visit. The technician displayed unprofessional behavior through rude questioning and used inappropriate tools (Cobra Pliers instead of proper hex ratchet or ratchet wrenches) that scratched the burner base. He quoted an additional $250 for cleaning on top of the $99 visit fee, which I had no option but to agree, then failed to fix the issue and recommended replacing the entire assembly. The lack of respect shown toward me as a customer, combined with the use of wrong tools and failure to complete the repair, made this experience not one I would recommend to others."

"Work was completed, but with a lot of issues and lack of communication. Mostly listening and attention to detail. Items purchased/installed without consultation. Wrong doors purchased. Shower walls already detaching from drywall. Had to replace already new water heater because they hooked/unhooked/moved it so many times it fried the electrical board inside it. No accountability for mistakes. Plumbing company in town won't work with them anymore because of their conduct. They didn't know a blower door test was required to pass inspection, so did the work myself. Was constantly told "I'm not making much money off of this" as a way to skirt responsibility. JOBC made the quote, and was told that there was a specific budget. IMO wasn't willing to constantly pay more money, so other jobs took priority. They smoked marijuana in the driveway while working. Not opposed to that generally, but not professional. Was being sued by another client and asked for . Won't hire again."

"Let's start with the bid. The young man who came to do the bid was respectful, professional and friendly. His bid was detailed, it spelled out all the terms of the contract in full, and was priced very reasonably. Compared to all the other bidders who were late, didn't show up at all, or were rude and refused to put in writing a bid that was more than double, Jake.was a breath of fresh air. We scheduled the job, and although I was understandably hesitant about making a 50% deposit, after checking with Angi, I paid it. He kept in touch with me to make sure that I had the house ready. I should mention that I am in my 60s and am severely handicapped. On the appointed day the crew showed up on time, (10 minutes early) and they were very personable and professional young men. They treated me, my home and my possessions with respect and care. They did an AMAZING job! They were replacing the flooring in about 1/2.my house, including both bathrooms, utility room and kitchen. I put in luxury vinyl planks in 2 colors. They placed each plank carefully to ensure that they were properly fitted to maintain waterproofing. The entire job was done carefully, neatly and with real pride in workmanship, which is a very rare thing these days. And the boys very very kind to my dogs one of whom is very old, deaf and nearly blind. I cannot express how impressed and pleased I am with the service which I received from this company. In addition, when they were putting back my washer they discovered a pinhole leak in the water supply, and worked with me to fix the problem instead of simply ignoring the problem. We will definitely use this company for any other remodeling or repair projects that we may do. I wouldn't hire anyone else!!!!!"

"Jared Lord, owner of Paul Haugen Construction, and his crew are outstanding. They are dependable, honest and do excellent work. Jared's labor and countertop cost for our project was $21, 473,65 (appx. $9K under budget). Our new cabinets, sink, stove top, range hood, tile and garbage disposal were separate costs that we paid for. Regardless, the total cost was below $50K for our beautiful and functional new kitchen."

"Vanderlip Construction brought our ideas and vision to a reality on a master and guest bathroom remodel in our 1961 rambler. Eric is both an organized contractor and an experienced craftsman. He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. Always patient and friendly, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the progression and the outcomes. He’s also committed to backing up his work. I suffered a serious leg injury after the remodel and Eric kindly went the extra step to come to our house and install a new light fixture in our bedroom. He scored an A+ on both bathrooms and we made a new friend."

"This review is long overdue in my praise of Washington Energy Services for their customer service, pricing and workmanship ! My first interaction was in 1999 when they installed windows throughout my house. They are still in excellent condition. I might note I called them over 20 years later to inquire on how I could repair a broken slider and they sent someone right out, charging a very nominal amount to repair it. In 2020, I needed to replace my hot water tank, and the extremely knowledgeable Christy presented several options, answering my many questions. I settled on one with a booster that seemed to best fit my needs. Finally, in December 2023, I purchased a new gas furnace from WES. I had a minor issue with a fan switch and they responded quickly to rectify the situation. Within the past two months, I seemed to be having an issue with my thermostat (something they had not installed), and the manager, Greg, came out twice with his crew to explore the problem. Today they installed a new thermostat FREE OF CHARGE! Their excellent response and customer service is beyond any company I have hired. And I particularly love that they are family owned and have been around for decades. Their employees seem to be there for the long haul, which speaks highly of the owner. I refer all my friends and family and I won't go anywhere else for services that they offer. Many thanks to the staff I have interacted with over the past 25 years!"

"had a deeply frustrating experience with Hunt’s HVAC Services that reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. They contacted me early last week to schedule service for my HVAC system, and I agreed to their preferred date—the following Monday. I received a confirmation email on Sunday and a reminder Monday morning for the upcoming afternoon appointment. I drove 1.5 hours to the service site, only to be met with confusion and poor communication. When I called at 12:30 to ask for a specific arrival time, I was told the technician would contact me 30 minutes before arriving—but they couldn’t give me a time estimate. I waited another 2.5 hours before receiving a call informing me that no technician would be coming at all. My only options were to reschedule or cancel. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on long hold. Eventually, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and would call me later. That call never came. This experience was a complete waste of time and resources, and the lack of accountability was appalling. Hunt’s HVAC Services failed to honor their commitment, communicate effectively, or show basic courtesy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business."
