"Let me start off by saying Im super impressed with the install crew Malik, Andy, and Brian. This crew is very professional, personable, and works REALLY hard! Please be sure to convey this to whoever is in their up-line as they each deserve kudos for being great employees and representatives of Groundworks. I was also VERY pleased with our estimator Zaire, he spent a lot of time planning and adjusting to our needs/wants for this project. Very communicative. I highly recommend Groundwork?s! "

"The project at xxxxx was complete last Thursday. Impressive is an understatement for Jesse and his crew. Excellent communication; excellent followthrough and project completed within estimated timeline and completed as quoted. From our original contact with MTU Services on Aug 20th, through the proposal, scheduling and actual project, MTU has provided service excellence! Thank you!!! I recommend MTU services!"

"?? SCAM ALERT ? BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY ?? All these 5.0 reviews are fake Do not hire this company. They took my money and then disappeared. They have no integrity and will lie and scam to get paid upfront. Before you even consider contacting them, review the complaints filed against them in Washington courts ? there are multiple cases. My experience was horrible. They were paid 50% of the contract upfront, yet never started the work. Do your due diligence ? this company cannot be trusted."

"Marvelous, even when we had to return a sink due to a malfunctioning part and begin again with a different sink. We provided the tile, adhesive and grout."

FAQs for concrete foundation raise projects in Seattle, WA

On average, it takes two to seven days to physically raise your house. However, this does not include the preparation work, which is often the most lengthy process. The entire project, including preparation, obtaining permits, disconnecting utilities, and any subsequent landscaping, can take four to eight weeks. This timeline ensures everything is done safely and that your home remains structurally sound.

If proper safety protocols are not followed, raising a house can cause severe damage, as the process involves applying controlled force to the home's structure. The risks involved make it crucial to hire a skilled contractor who uses engineered methods to secure your home and prevent any harm to your household.

If your foundation shows signs of instability after raising your home, you might need to add structural support. A structural engineer can assess your foundation and recommend reinforcements to ensure your house stays stable and safe for the long term. Available support options include installing additional piers or pilings, reinforcing existing footings, or using steel beams to distribute the load more evenly.

You will need a structural engineer to assess your home before you begin. These professionals determine whether your house is suitable for lifting and identify any issues that could compromise its stability. Their expertise ensures that the project is designed correctly and all risks are managed to achieve a successful lift.
