"Even after you paid a deposit these people will not return calls or emails. Probably the most unprofessional company I have dealt with. First off there is Ray X. Ray apparently takes week long vacations and does not set an out of office email reply. You would think if you call the people in the office to ask for help, they would say Ray is on vacation this week instead of He will call you back right away! The entire office seemed to not know he was on vacation, which is a huge problem because Ray is the only person who can actually make or edit a quote. Next up is Monica X. Monica also goes on vacations and does not set her email to reply informing people she is out of the office. When you call the office because Monica will not return your calls or emails, they seem not to know she is on vacation and will tell you she will call you back right away which will not happen. When you finally get Monica on the phone and ask is she got your voicemail, she will admit she does not check her voicemail. This is a huge problem because Monica is apparently the only person qualified to add a date to a calendar. You might think I am one of those customers that calls a lot and has a bunch of concerns... All I was trying to do was set a date for the job after paying my deposit. I had no questions or concerns. After we made a date I got a call the night before that they needed to cancel and my appoint was bumped a few more weeks. Finally a worker shows up about an hour late on the 2nd date and they brought a huge truck that was too wide to get into a driveway (Even though a 20ft shipping container got through there fine) making the job impossible. They said they would come at 7:30am the next day with the much smaller Van to do the job. At 7:50 I get a call from Monica. She says I think they were supposed to be there at 7:45? I correct her, and then she apologizes for them running late but they are on their way from Fairfield (20 minutes away.) 1 hour later I try to call Monica but she does not pick up and her voicemail box is full. Another half hour passes and I call again, no answer. Another half hour, no answer. Finally I call the office again and they are all in a big meeting. When I comment on Monica voicemail box being full they actually try to tell me that it must have filled up entirely within the timeframe of the meeting because of course she checks her voicemail. I never hear from Monica or Ray again, because they cannot be bothered. The worker arrives alone over 3 hours late and admits that he was told to go to another job first despite my job being weeks behind schedule, and the idea that he was on his way at 7:50 was a complete lie. Monica is a liar. Around the time the worker finally arrives I get a call back from the office. I had asked her earlier to go into the meeting and get me answers, and that I would like to speak to the owner or someone above these other clowns. She was calling to let me know the owner would be calling me in a couple minutes. 4 hours later as the job was getting complete I bring this up to the worker because I never received the call. He said he will bring it up to management and he will get him to give me a call (worker was some sort of manager apparently.) Guess what? He never called. They just sent the bill for the remaining balance of $6000 with no apologies."

"I cannot recommend Trino highly enough! He and his crew did a beautiful job replacing half of my concrete driveway. They were here exactly when they said they would be, did everything they promised, and cleaned everything up when they finished. Even when I suggested they could skip steps, he insisted on doing everything properly, including completely digging out a huge tree root, adding color to minimize differences with the existing concrete, and laying rebar."

"I first want to say that I did not want to write a bad review, and I have put this off for a year hoping it would not be necessary. I was looking for landscape/yard maintenance and found Brad Sayre's name with great reviews on Angie's List. In January of 2018 I set up an appointment for Brad Sayre to come to my house and consult on work that I needed done; yard maintenance, weeding, weed eating, trees cleaned up, pruning and some irrigation put in. Our property does not have landscaping completed. Our grass area was just green weeds, mowed. We had landscape plans drawn up but had not started yet. After talking with Brad he told me that he was not able to do the work. " That there was no money in it for him." He said that for the work I needed done that, " I should just hire some mexicans" to do it. He said that doing the work would not make him any money since I do not have any landscaping done and won't need regular maintenance. I explained that I had landscape plans drawn up and he said he would give me a quote to do the work on the plans. He said that if we had him to the landscaping then he would come and do the work I needed on the yard at that time. I said that once the landscaping was done I would want him to come every two weeks for maintenance. He said that he only weekly maintenance. So Brad took my plans with him to give me a quote for the work to be done. Here are the emails Brad and I exchanged back and forth. I have not been able to reach Brad and left voicemails. My husband has also called him a couple times, no answer so left voicemails, asking for the plans back. At this time, April 25, 2019, I still do not have my plans. I do have another set of plans I can use, so that is not the bigger issue for me. Some of my issues are the things he said during the meeting; that I should hire Mexicans to do it for me, that he said there was no money in it for him, that he said he'd do the work if I had him do the landscaping. I think there was a more professional way to handle the meeting. It is perfectly acceptable for him to say that he normally does bigger jobs, or that he is unable to do the work for whatever reason. I would totally understand that. I was uncomfortable when he told me I should just hire some Mexicans to do it. Then, I didn't even receive a professional estimate. I received an email with bad spelling and no information. Just "front" and "back" estimates. And had I gotten my plans back after that I wouldn't really have a problem. I would just chalk it to a meeting that didn't work, some unprofessional statements, and I would have gone on with my life. But that fact that I have been trying to get my plans back for a year, with voicemails and emails, and getting absolutely no response from him, has left me no choice but to leave a bad review."

On average, it takes two to seven days to physically raise your house. However, this does not include the preparation work, which is often the most lengthy process. The entire project, including preparation, obtaining permits, disconnecting utilities, and any subsequent landscaping, can take four to eight weeks. This timeline ensures everything is done safely and that your home remains structurally sound.
If proper safety protocols are not followed, raising a house can cause severe damage, as the process involves applying controlled force to the home's structure. The risks involved make it crucial to hire a skilled contractor who uses engineered methods to secure your home and prevent any harm to your household.
If your foundation shows signs of instability after raising your home, you might need to add structural support. A structural engineer can assess your foundation and recommend reinforcements to ensure your house stays stable and safe for the long term. Available support options include installing additional piers or pilings, reinforcing existing footings, or using steel beams to distribute the load more evenly.
You will need a structural engineer to assess your home before you begin. These professionals determine whether your house is suitable for lifting and identify any issues that could compromise its stability. Their expertise ensures that the project is designed correctly and all risks are managed to achieve a successful lift.
