He was very clear with the iCornerstone process, and the benefits of using this process. He is meticulous in measuring and understanding the existing structure. There are no guesstimates and all cost projections are based on the actual materials and labor needed to complete the work. Having such clarity regarding costs before any work begins is not something I've seen in this industry prior to this experience. It was certainly a welcome change. We now have plans for a home addition and complete control over the project. We decide the scope and can customize the plan to our budget. Construction jobs always seem to take longer than expected, and this was true here, as well, but I think it is due to the nature of the business -- coordinating the schedules of several subs and dealing with unanticipated issues, especially when working on an old house. David juggled it all well. His core carpentry crew, Paul and Derek, were skilled, dedicated and responsive to requests. They kept the ball rolling forward. Good quality work at reasonable prices -- it would have cost me substantially more to use one of the larger home remodeling firms and I probably would get far less top-level attention."
