"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"<p>We have a water pump which had not been serviced for the past 20 years.  We did not even know that that had to be done.  Once we started to have problems, (i.e. inconsistent pressure in house and practically zero pressure with our sprinkler system) the gentleman who came to work on our sprinkler system suggested that we have the pump system checked first to see if this might be a contributory factor to the poor performance of the sprinkler.  Called Mr. Norman Alms and after a few tries at coordinating our schedules, we agreed on this morning, between 08:00 AM and 08:30 AM.  Norman arrived as he has indicated with his helper.  I assumed that he would be giving us an estimate of cost and amount of work needed.  Instead, he came prepared with all possible parts to remedy the problem.  However, he did not just go ahead and repair the problem but rather assessed the situation and then offered us the opportunity of fixing the issues right at this time or scheduling the repair for another day.  Naturally we opted for the former and it was not long before we were "back in business."  Norman had tested the pressure in the sprinkler system before the repair and then followed up with a test after the repair was completed.  The difference pre and post was remarkable.  And in house pressure also fell in that remarkable category.  It makes me wonder whether other sprinkler problems might not be related to the water pump and much time is wasted trying to ferret out nonexistent sprinkler problems.  Live and learn!</p> <p>I can only add that Norman and his helper are most punctual, most professional and very willing to educate you about how to maintain your pump system.  You only need ask.  And another plus, Norman almost always answers his phone.  You do not waste time playing phone tag.  He runs his business most efficiently and you benefit from his expertise.  I would recommend highly!</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"I discovered a leak in my water service between the meter and the house.  I called to get a plumber around noon.  The lady that answered the phone was professional and explained that there were two people ahead of me and they would give me a call when they were on their way to my house.  They actually arrived at my house within two hours of my phone call.  Plumbers were John & Sam.  They were very professional and explained and showed me what needed to be done, repaired the pipe and checked the service inside the house when they were done.  I am very pleased with this company.  This is the 3rd time I have used them and I will definitely use them again.  One note.  They apparently go by the name Mr. Rooter now as I think they have bought the local Mr. Rooter franchise. <br />"

"He installed new shingles and did a very good job. He worked by himself even in the hottest part of the day. This person also did work for me a year earlier. In October 2013, our house burned and had to be rebuilt. He was working for a contractor at the time and did all the wiring for our house. I find him to be honest and trustworthy and took pride in his work to do the job right. He worked well with others during our reconstruction and was respectful to the customers wishes."

"Called Terry's well pump to have my sprinkler well pump serviced since it quit working a few weeks ago. I had tried everything that I researched on the Internet to no avail. The person on the phone asked me series of questions and was up front on what it would cost for a pump replaced if needed then gave me some more tests to try before making an appointment. In five minutes he led me to discover what I couldn't do in three weeks and now it's working great again. I will definitely be calling them for all my future well pump needs."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Seminole, AL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
