"The tech showed up on time, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I have to say I was on a 1 to 10 with his work a 20. He explained the complete process from beginning to end. And follow the process just as he explained. To my surprise I expected a good job well I was wrong, it was an awesome fantastic job if I did not know better and I was not here I would literally think all the tile was replaced all the tile as well as the bathtub and all of the other areas that he Resurfaced. When I walked into the room and it was done I cannot put into words what I said when I saw it. I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of Resurfacing. Adam made this is a super customer experience!"

"It was a pleasure to work with Ron. He found that the bottom of the tub needed to be refinished, but the sides were in good shape -- so he only scraped the bottom and charged me less. He also saw that the outside of the tub had never been refinished and recommended leaving it as is. I appreciate a workman who tells me what doesn't need to be done, and then doesn't charge me for it! The tub looks beautiful, and Ron was pleasant, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with."

"I remodeled the bathroom and the tub was left to do so the easiest way was to refinish the tub instead of ripping it out and upsetting the tile work among other things. I haven't seen the work yet as im an out of state owner so I reserve the right to change feedback when I get to town.i was told its suppoed to be white and shiny and clean like my tub here in my apartment. lets hope so, im confident.

"Tom was very personable and nice to speak with both when he visited our home as well as our meeting in the showroom. However as this was not our only estimate it was apparent that the quality of cabinets and materials as well as the ability of the installers was limited compared to other companies we had spoken with. Some examples would be that the items in the showroom seemed outdated compared to other products and materials we had seen and actually a lot like what we were trying to replace. When we spoke about our ceiling which continues into a family room and how to update the kitchen lighting without having to repaint and replace the entire family room ceiling the suggestion was to nail trim to the ceiling and thus create a break in a floor plan that is supposed to be one large room. When we asked about under cabinet lighting the suggestion was that since that involved a lot of electrical work that we could purchase stick up lights at Lowes afterwards. This seemed crazy given the cost of new cabinets. While their quote was the least cost of others it also was clear that it was not going to be a kitchen we would be happy with. For those who are extremely budget minded I think this would be a good option but otherwise if you want anything even remotely higher end this is not the place.

"The entire project went way better than expected. From the initial designs, which changed multiple times, to the final measurements and installation. The designer, Terra, was very responsive, and pointed out what would and would not work which made the process much easier for us. The owner of the company personally did our final measurements and made some minor tweaks to the design that we would have missed. The 3D designs they gave us we're amazingly realistic, and made us comfortable with the layout. Every appointment we had with them from design, to measure, to install, and the process of granite selection, measurements and installation we're exactly on time and professional. Terra even came to our house personally on install day to make sure there was no confusion on the layout. We had a minor issue with adjustment of a couple of doors, and Terra had someone here 2 days later to make the minor adjustment. Couldn't be happier with the way it went. I met them at the Home Show in the spring and knew they were the right fit for us. The cabinets we selected are super high quality, and much more reasonably priced than I expected. There were NO surprises. I would definitely hire them again or refer them to a friend or family member."

"I have had some credit issues in the past whic caused me to be turned down by other mortgage lenders. I contacted Mark after reading some reviews on angie's list just to see if there was any thing that he might be able to do that was better than the typical lenders. He was very positive from the beginning, but also very realistic and upfront. He was able to get me a good rate, much better than i was expecting with good closing costs and through FHA. There were difficulties along the way with the FHA and my insurance company wich made for some bumps in the road. But Mark and Judy were right there and worked through it making adjustments as necessary and keeping me up to date on the process. I would recommend them to others anytime. It took a while to get to closing, but we got there and with a good rate and a relatively smooth process. Many thanks to Mark and Judy, not every broker would put this much time into a relatively small mortgage.

"I am so totally thrilled with the work these guys did. FANTASTIC. We only wish that all of the other subcontractors that we hired during our renovation projects were as wonderful as Ultimate Custom Painting. They were able to get us truly excited about our new house again (after we were feeling very worn down from some previous bad contractor experiences.) My husband and I found ourselves in a bit over our heads when it came to doing the painting for our newly renovated old house and spackling the cracks and imperfections. Like many other renovations, we were behind schedule and over budget, so we didn't have a lot of money left over for painting. In the end, we finally decided that if we wanted to move in anytime this year, we would need to hire someone to complete the painting since there was no way we were going to have time to do it between all of the other DIY projects we were working on, plus preparing for the move (not to mention we also both have very demanding full time jobs).
We started off with a bid from another very highly recommended painter. This other guy was nice and came highly recommended from trusted friends, but his bid was just too high and out of our budget. I decided we needed to get another bid, but wasn't sure who to call. I found the number for Ultimate Custom Painting here on Angie's List and thought I'd give them a call since they had such great reviews. I'm so glad I did! I found out that the owner (Rick) lives in my same neighborhood and was only several blocks away from my house. We met at my house within 10 minutes after talking on the phone. He looked around and I was worried our old plaster walls and ceilings were too badly cracked and crumbling in some areas and might be unable to be painted (the house was built in 1917 so it's not perfect.) Rick told me it was no problem and that by the end of the job, I'd have smooth and beautifully painted surfaces. I was so relieved. He sent us his bid that same evening and it was much more reasonable that the other one we got. Also, he had an opening in his schedule just 2 days away so the work could get started ASAP. Hooray!
They showed up at the house at 7am as promised (I was actually the one late to arrive that day to let them in, LOL, I wasn't used to contractors that actually showed up ontime!) He had a great crew that came to do the work. They were all polite and professional and I trusted them in my home. I told them I just had the hardwood floors refinished in the home and asked if they could please be very careful with the ladders and equipment so that they wouldn't get damaged. They completely covered the floors with tarps and gently placed the ladders as they moved them around. They were AMAZING. I also just had a brand new kitchen installed with beautiful maple cabinets, granite, farmhouse sink, etc. I was worried they might get paint on the cabinets or counter-top. Mike assured me that they would be extra careful to make sure my kitchen stayed as beautiful as it was when they arrived and he kept true to his word. He was so great and I know that there is no way my husband or I could have done all the work as beautifully and perfectly as they did.
Not a drop of paint ended up anywhere else in my house other than on the walls and ceilings. They were careful not to use my new kitchen sink for any cleanup and ran downstairs to the laundry tub in my basement when they needed to rinse anything. They showed up every single day at 7am and stayed through til 3. They came every day in a row until the work was done. They finished on time and within the exact number of days that Rick estimated they would.
The paint looks fantastic and all the cracks and plaster crumbles were repaired and the walls and ceilings look BEAUTIFUL! I love my house now. When they finished, they got on their hands and knees and wiped my floors clean! They wanted to make sure there were no traces of paint that may have dripped onto the hardwood and to be honest, my floors ended up cleaner when they left than they were when they started the job!
I highly recommend hiring this company for painting. They are professional, punctual, fairly priced, skilled, trustworthy, friendly and easy to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat (and probably will in the spring for the exterior of my house.)
Thank you Rick, Mike and team for doing an amazing job and getting our house closer to being a home. We are grateful and appreciate all of the hard work and effort that went into the job and look forward to our paths crossing again in the future."
