"We could not have asked for better people and a better company to remodel our basement for us. Steve and his crew were timely, communicative, and overall great people to work with."

"The project went very well! Mike is terrific. The crew came as scheduled. Explained what they would be doing and did a nice job.The first part of the project involved trenching the basement floor along the three walls. This was the dusty and loudest part of the work since they use electric jack hammers. Make sure you cover everything. They did a great job cleaning up the area they worked in but you will still have dust. We had a minor problem and came to a mutual agreement for solution. Nice people to work with, great job!"

"Both Angi and the Eco Exterior Solution stated that Eco Solution had Insurance. My Contract with Eco Exterior Solutions also stated they had Insurance. When Eco Exterior Solutions and I needed their insurance, they had NO INSURANCE."

"This entire team was excellent. Granted, not something that I wanted to deal with; but since I had no choice, Servpro made the inconvenience much easier and less stressful. They spent many hours over several days doing sewer back-up clean up and were very conscientious, considerate of my home and time and EVEN went above and beyond to let my dog out to the bathroom when needed! Their equipment was in use for right around 7-10 days and they always notified me in advance when they were coming to do an equipment check and basement check. Their clean up was done to a very high quality level and they tried their best to save/sanitize whatever possible; but also following all regulations as to what had to be removed per standards and rules. I hope to not have to use their service again (no offense), but will certainly not hesitate if need be and would definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for this type of service!!"

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Sherwood, WI

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
