"The stepped brick walkway in the front of my house was in disrepair and in need of replacement. I sent Tom photos of the area with measurements and he gave two quotes remotely, one to put stepped concrete in its place and one to extend the driveway without steps. Ultimately, I opted to extend the driveway for the extra space. On the day of the installation Tom and his crew arrived on time, quickly removed the brick walkway and set the new concrete with new concrete box and lid for the sewer valve. He also advised that I replace a portion of the bottom of the driveway adjacent to the project area because it had lifted over time and would be a tripping hazard. Overall the project went smoothly and was priced more reasonably than two other estimates I got."

"Tony responded the day I called and attempted to determine where it was. He was out with his crew in a couple of days and It was located under a section of my front walk so concrete had to be broken up and replaced. This was all done in two days and I'm quite satisfied with the work which was done."

"These guys were professional, fast, and were affordable. Had another company quote me much more than these guys did and the other company was no where near as professional as V Rivera Concrete. 10/10 would recommend! I'm impressed, thank you so much for the beautiful work you did!"

"We are very happy with the work that SHEcan2 did for us. We had them do a partial kitchen remodel, where the sink, counter, sink cabinet, and drywall behind replaced. Kim got us sample pictures and was more than willing to go the extra mile when our original selection wouldn't be available for awhile. Kim and Jeff did this work in three days. Both were courteous and professional. They answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend using these folks for your remodeling needs."

"Everything went so amazing and smoothly. Mike is so understanding with what you need. The work we had done on our house was perfect. They cleaned up after so there was minimal dust after the work was finished. We are so happy with the finished results and are excited that our home is exactly how we want it to be now. We will be using R & R construction for every contracting project in the future."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Shingle Springs, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
