"Honestly, it went as well as could be hoped. I'm super happy with the work. Quoting: I got quotes from 7 companies. Van showed up on time. He was obviously an expert and not just a salesman. He was pleasant to talk to and even helped me to expand on my ideas for a better end result. Definitely seemed like exactly the company I was looking for. The price I got back was not the absolute lowest but it was very competitive (below the mean of the 7). Communication/Scheduling: Multiple people were communicating with me via email and text. I was able to keep in touch on a regular basis navigating weather, illness, pattern choices, color choices, work start, invoicing. The work: They were able to tear out my old patio and sidewalk, level my hilly yard, pour the new concrete, stamp it, seal it. I didn't expect them to completely avoid killing the flowers that came up next to the old patio but they did. I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The patio is beautiful and integrated in my sidewalks. Follow-Up: Obviously there's some yard destruction when you're leveling things and using heavy equipment. Van was ready with referrals to landscaping companies which could help make things right. What could be improved: Choosing a stamp is pretty easy. Choosing 2 colors which will interact is a bit difficult. I ended up having to search online for examples posted by others on how base color X will look when mixed with release color Y."

The Sotos crew placed down wood to protect the sod around the areas they were working and during the concrete pour put up plastic sheeting to protect the surrounding area. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. They matched finish texture to the adjoining concrete and blends well with the existing concrete in both locations. We would hire Sotos Concrete again."

"We had used Mike in the past for a patio at our former home and when we moved to a new home without a paitio, we called Mike right away. Mike came out right away and helped us decide what we wanted and gave a good quote. He started quickly and completed our amazing patio as quickly as the weather allowed.

We had Mike do a "sandblast etch" style for our patio and it looks really slick."

"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event".  Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work.  They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage.  They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours.  I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work!

"Rogers did an amazing job on my concrete floor in my barn. Took out the old concrete to make a flat, smooth surface. He also did my front horseshoe for a new driveway! Amazing work. "Tony is not only the owner of the company he is an honest man, hard worker and an artist. He does what he says and if you take his lead you will end up with a beautiful driveway and sidewalk that is the envy of the neighborhood. Don't rush him to pour concrete when it's too wet, too hot or raining. He wants to do a good job and if you let him you won't be disappointed. Once your concrete is done follow his instructions to the letter and you will wind up with a great result. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with Tony and his team. "This job went perfectly! Travis and all the people on his team and crew were professional and clearly knew what they were doing. He gave excellent advice when he came out for the estimate. The estimate broke down the cost for various parts of the job, which I found to be very helpful and informative. "Purchases the Angie's list deal and received e-mail indicating approximately when the first application would be done.  I wanted additional information regarding the types of products used, how the company would assure the fertilizer/weed killer didn't get on flower beds and concrete as well as how safe was it to have the dog on the yard after application.  The office called me and we discussed and I asked that I be notified the day before each application so to assure the dog was not in the back yard and that we would know to keep him off the grass. 
The first application was applied and I was notified with a note in my door and a plastic stake in my yard upon arrival home that night after the first application. The note indicated no one answered the door so they left the note outlining that days treatment in the door.  My adult daughter had just graduated from college and was home when the lawn was treated and she indicated no one rang the doorbell or knocked.  I never heard from the company one time all summer before they came. I saw great improvement in the yard, especially the weeds, during the first half of the summer.  Toward the end of the summer the weeds started to really show up again.  I called and left a message with the company asking when the next treatment was to be done and indicating my concern over the increase in weeds. I didn't hear back.  Approximately three weeks later I called again and left a message again asking for a reply e-mail (left e-mail address) or call to let me know when the next application would be applied.  I never heard back.  The third attempt I e-mailed the company but still didn't receive a reply. 
It just happened I was home the day when the final application was made to the lawn this fall.  They didn't ring the door bell or knock on the door.  He applied the treatment and I watched this time and the flower beds were not avoided nor was the concrete or deck in the back and front yard.  I met the man at the door when he was slipping the receipt into the door and again it indicated that no one answered the door.
Overall the treatments were fine but toward the end of the summer the lawn begin looking bad again.  The lack of communication when specifically requested is the reason I will not hire this company again.  This lack of communication to some would be plus but to me I feel as the customer if I ask to be kept informed the company should do so.
