"Highly recommend. We got water damage in our kitchen and Ricky helped us fix it. He was very responsive and helpful with any information we need. His crew were respectful and reliable. With only 2 people working, they were able to fix the water leak and finish our kitchen and bathroom remodel in less than 2 weeks. I am so thankful with Ricky and will be reaching out to them for any house improvement we have."

"Working with Avil Enterprises was a great experience! While it is difficult to get through the permitting process, Mike was good at communicating quickly and clearly to keep the project moving. When the time crunch became pressing they stepped up their resources to helps us achieve our opening date. Their fees seemed fair and their estimate was close to the expected amount. I appreciate them and we look forward to working with them again."

"Roger had replaced a fence for me in 2008. He came out promptly and indicated that there were three panels of fencing that were solid and did not need to be replaced - gave me pricing to replace the 7 sections that were in need of replacement. Once the contract was signed, he and his helper removed the old fence and set new metal posts. The following day he installed the new redwood fencing which looks great. They did a great job of clean-up, were very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Silver-City, NV

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
