Mario and his crew were punctual and efficient, executed all of the work agreed upon, allowed us to add work while he was here, cleaned up after themselves everyday, virtually took no breaks and our work was over multiple days in the heat later summer and early summer with tons of rain. They even blew off my patio with the leaf blower without me asking. He and his crew smile and always seem to go the extra mile. I would hire him again (and will later this fall) in a heartbeat. Oh yeah....he beat other landscapers prices significantly. I have had 4 landscapers over the years and every one of them would show up late and sometimes not at all, try to cut corners, and would get irritated or flat out refuse if we asked them a question or discussed if we could adjust something at added cost to ourselves. Mario is nothing like that and he is willing to work with his clientele to give them what they want. In a time when it’s difficult to find people who want to do a job and do it well, Mario and his crew made the entire process easy and a pleasure. The results were fantastic."

He kept me informed of everything he was doing. The results are amazing. I had him do additional work that was not part of the original estimate. He viewed the additional work and gave me another reasonable estimate. He is very respectful. He and his assistant worked very hard, He made sure that everything was perfect according to our requirements. "My house 80 year old house is 1/2 brick and 1/2 stucco. When I noticed some water damage on one of my interior walls, I took a good look at the exterior of the house and realized that I had a lot of mortar that had eroded over the years and a section of stucco under a second floor  window which had cracked and pulled away from the house.
Grover came out to inspect the house and determine which sections of brick would need to be repaired. I really appreciate that he didn't just address the area of the house that was leaking. He went a step further and found every spot around the exterior where the mortar was breaking down. I'm sure that some people would have either ignored this step, or told me that they would have to tuck point the entire house which would have cost me a lot of money. Instead, I got every trouble spot on my house repaired and no unnecessary work done.
The stucco that he repaired looks amazing. He matched the original texture exactly. On top of all this, the price was very reasonable. I don't feel like I could have gotten a better deal for the work done.

"All projects were completed with beautiful results. Their masonry division and pavers division both employ professional, seasoned crews who are assigned to the project with experienced foremen. With all of the projects there was meticulous care taken with the work, and they communicated with me about matters that came up along the way. The company was very easy to work with in negotiating the agreement, reviewing details, and getting responses to various questions along the way. There was a small group of stones, intended for capstones on a wall, that were not of the quality of the other stone, and they replaced those for me. Dan (masonry division & company) and Marty (paver division), division managers and senior managers of the company, offer careful review of their respective divisions' work and of the overall projects, and clearly care about their customers. The onsite foremen (John - masonry) and Rob (Pavers) were very careful with the details and the progress of the projects. They brought a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the work every day. In one instance a section of the drive wasn't to Rob's liking, and they pulled up that section and redid everything. They were careful to adjust the angles for drainage on the driveway, and were attentive to details that a lesser company might not pay attention to. They will purchase the quality of pavers/stone requested by the customer, and the Unilock pavers I chose to have installed both look beautiful, and appear to be durable also. They were attentive to protecting my home from construction dust, as I had requested, covering windows and doors in the vicinity, and cleaned up well after their work. I had a landscape design created for the overall plan for renovating the exterior of my home, and they comfortably worked with that design in establishing the dimensions of the various paver projects. I thought that the front area and driveway would look very nice as planned but it looks even better than I had hoped. Neighbors, and even the mail carrier have commented upon the awesome work; it is nice when one's neighbors can also enjoy and appreciate the results of a home project. Early in the planning stages I was deciding upon whether I was going to use HiCon's services for this work or another contractor. What tipped the balance was some advice from another contractor I had working at my home, who has had occasion to see HiCon's work over time because of the work that they do; their comment was that they thought I should contract with HiCon because their work is excellent and really holds up over time. Where this other contractor might see a more amateurishly constructed patio start to show signs of wear after a few years, the HiCon structures they have had occasion to see are often there many years later, still in good shape. I couldn't be more pleased with the work."
