He diagnosed the problem as requiring a new kit to replace the main PCB control board and the display board. He gave me the OEM part number. I highly recommend Neli Virtual Appliance Repair, my first virtual repair experience. Cost $35. I would do it again. Took 15-20 minutes to install app and pay at start of appt."

"My freezer went out in the middle of the week, and after calling a couple of other places, I was pleased to find that SOS could send someone out as early as the next day.  The repairman was prompt, professional, and concise.  I noticed that he took his shoes off at the door without me asking, which I (and my hard wood floors) appreciated.  It was about 30 minutes worth of work, which he completed in 30 minutes.  I also appreciated the $20 instant discount for being an Angie's list member.  
I intend to call them again with any appliance issues in the future.
That being said, I rated price a B, not because it was high, but just a really small thing I'd like to see improved for the future. Up front I committed to a diagnostic fee in the event I did not accept the service ( which makes perfect business sense and provides assurance that I'm a serious customer), but the repairman quoted me a price ( only verbally) that perhaps came from his computer or his experience, but I think I would have felt a bit of assurance myself to have seen a listing of prices next to services. Again, small thing, I'd still recommend SOS to anyone."

"THE PLUG FOR THE CAST IRON STACK IN MY BASEMENT HAD RUSTED OFF AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. BECAUSE OF MY IGNORANCE ABOUT PLUMBING, THE PLUMBER, STEVE, COULD HAVE EASILY CONVINCED ME TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE PIPE; BUT INSTEAD HE STUCK TO THE SIMPLEST, LEAST COSTLY SOLUTION. HE EXPLAINED UP FRONT HOW THE FEES WOULD BE BROKEN DOWN. THE PARTS HE HAD IN HIS TRUCK DID NOT FIT THE HOLE, WHICH WAS AN UNUSUAL SIZE, SO HE HAD TO MAKE A TRIP TO A SUPPLY STORE; BUT HE CALLED AHEAD TO SAVE TIME. THE PART FIT JUST RIGHT. HE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING ABOUT DISCUSSING SOME UNRELATED PLUMBING CONCERNS, THOUGH MADE IT CLEAR I WOULD HAVE TO SCHEDULE AN ACTUAL ESTIMATE WITH SOMEONE ELSE IN THE COMPANY. HE SEEMED EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXPLAINING PROS AND CONS OF SHORT TERM VS LONG TERM SOLUTIONS TO VARIOUS REMODELING PROBLEMS. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM, NEATNESS AND FRIENDLY MANNER. THE PRICE SEEMED FAIR COMPARED TO OTHER PLUMBING JOBS I'VE HAD DONE. VERY SATISFIED."
