My name is Brett Winek, and construction and helping others has been a passion of mine my whole life. I've come together to work with my father and childhood friend to make my dream of growing a great and reliable company to life. I operate my business off of clear and precise work, and value being punctual and reliable to my customers as we value your time and understand that time is valuable.

"From the initial phone call with Diana to inquire about the service, meeting with Mike and then to the installation I was very impressed with this company. All were very personable, yet professional. I’m grateful the frustrating big box store I was dealing with didn’t follow up with me. I had 2 storm doors and an exterior door installed. The product and installation is high quality and very impressive. They were prompt, thorough, and did not leave a mess. I would definitely recommend and hire this company again. Thank you for a stress free process."

"Two days ago, we had eight windows installed in our home by Guardian Windows. Words cannot express how impressed we are with the windows and more importantly the installation. We were pleased to have such highly skilled and experienced installers. Myself, I am an engineer by occupation, so I was more than just interested in the installation process. With eight large openings in my house, I was concerned not so much with the appearance but what cannot be seen. I was interested specifically in how the installation would address water, air leakage, and the impact to my interior trim. All my questions were not only addressed but they exceeded my expectations. During the installation the Guardian installers found numerous problems with my home. For every window the builder failed to properly attach the interior and exterior trim. Most of the builder window openings were not sealed properly and in several cases the builder windows were not securely nailed. The Guardian installers pointed out each of these problems and then explained how they would make the proper corrections. During the installation furniture in each room was moved as needed. Drop cloths with floor protection and plastic were used extensively throughout. After completing the work in each room, everything was returned as found and the room was vacuumed for added measure. Afterwards we found our home relatively dust free. To be clear there was some dust but considering all the work performed it was easily addressed. After the installation was completed, we were amazed by the fit and finish at each window. The measurement of the installation was so precise that no tile repair, painting, or drywall work was needed. We are so pleased with these eight windows that we immediately arranged for Guardian to have the remaining six windows in our home to be replaced. In closing, while these new windows look amazing, please consider what you don’t see. That’s where the real value is and peace of mind knowing the high-quality windows Guardian windows will be a lasting and sound investment in your home."

"Vendor contacted us very quickly and requested some basic information like door dimensions and photo. A quote was given online. Once we decided to proceed, vendor's employee arrived at designed time to remove door and replace with a temporary. We were told the work would take 1 week, and it did. We got a call on the morning of the day door was to be returned, and the employee arrived at the appointed time. The quality of the work was excellent. We have already recommended the vendor to friends."

"Gearold White and his co-worker showed up right on time to do the job.  I have a lot of concrete, three large driveways, side walks, and a large concrete area surrounding my in ground pool.  All of this concrete had turned black with mold and dirt, and had become very unsightly.  They proceeded to put down a cleaner/mold killer on all the pavement, and then used large buffer machines to scrub the cleaner in and remove the mold/black build up.  Gearold also took it a step further, and when going by any fixed object (out door lamps, patio windows, ect...) he would hit them with the pressure washer and spiff them up just because he could!  I can't say enough good about this man, and his work ethics.  I would recommend him to anyone, and would not worry in the least about what their experience with him would be like.

"Work was started and completed on schedule. Installer crew worked in a quick and professional manner, answered our questions, and removed all installation-related debris and old windows. I was left with two small areas that require some touch-up paint because there was not time for the surfaces to dry sufficiently for the application of paint. Windows look great, are sound and operate smoothly."

"Went very well, didn't take long for the guy to fix door and spring."

"I called and got an appointment right away. Kevin came out to measure and explain the aspects of the door and about the insulation. He did a great job. I went to the showroom to look and the differences in the doors and materials. The ladies were helpful and explained everything. Bottom line they were just a little higher than the company I ended up choosing.

"We called to request Lone Star Solar Screens to come out and give us an estimate for screens for our whole home.  They were able to come out the next day to give us an estimate.  We called another provider we found on Angie's list but due to the many storms in our area the provider told us he "might" be able to come give an estimate the following week.

Robert with Lone Star provided us an estimate broken down with prices for screens with the decorative grids and also without the grids.  He also offered to break the bid down showing the cost for only the front of the house and then back of the house in case we wanted to have the job done in phases.

The bid was very competitive and the screens also come with a life time warranty.

Once we placed our order for the screens, we were told it would take 7 to 10 days for screens to be made then we would be called to set up installation date.  To our surprise we had our screens installed in less than a week for ordering them.  They look great, are easy to see through and make a big difference in the temperature of our den which faces west and one whole wall is windows.

We would definitely recommend them."
