I have been in the construction industry in some capacity for almost 20 years now. I started in building maintenance and now I mange residential restoration projects ranging from $500-500,000.\nI love what I do and would love to be more hands on outside of the project management that I do only a daily basis.

I don't remember any suggestions to having my chimney checked for any blockages( of which I have now learned later could be the source of my problem) before purchasing a new gas furnace). He did not spend any time talking about what furnaces they sell or installation prices - which was good because I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything). On hindsight, I wished that he had pulled out the burner and checked for any dirty ports, etc. (which the utility company used to do whenever I needed service) as part of the diagnostic labor.) He did spend the time allotted as per the Angie's list deal. I did request an estimate for a new gas furnace of which he provided 2 days later. I must say their response time was excellent - After I paid for the Angie's list deal (on a Saturday-12/10/16), their company called me no more than 15 mins later plus I was able to get an appointment on that Monday (12/12/16)!! The tech/salesperson was polite and professional."

While I cannot "undo" my initial Angie's List review of Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC, I can offer this updated correction, applauding Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC for reaching out to me in spite of the delay. I note their interest and will contact them again for any future appliance repair needs. The sincerity & contrition Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC demonstrated in its phone conversation with me earns them the benefit of the doubt and a pass in this instance."

"Justin arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the circuit board. He advised me to call him if there were any further problems. The next day I experienced the same temperature control issues that prompted my original call. I called Justin and a second appointment was scheduled. On the second visit, Justin replaced an additional part and everything has been fine since. I am happy with the work that Justin performed and would certainly recommend him to others."

"A+! THIS IS HOW SERVICE CALLS SHOULD ALL GO! I was given a service window between 9:00 and 11:30 am. To my delight, Eyal, the technician from Aviv Appliances arrived at 9:25. After explaining the problem, he immediately diagnosed the problem of a clogged condensation drain line, showed me where the problem was, what was causing it. He fixed the problem and offered a simple remedy to prevent future occurrences and the need for a service call. Additionally, the dishwasher was leaking during operation, and I was worried that the seal or gasket had gone bad. The technician diagnosed the problem as a dirty spray head and that the way dishes were loaded blocked the spray rotation. He cleaned and reset the part, returned it to its place and showed what to look out for in the future. The technician also offered tips for routine maintenance to optimize performance and cleaning. I have dealt with a variety of technicians in the past, some even replaced parts unnecessarily and charged for the "extra" labor. All I was charged today was the $99 minimum service charge I was quoted over the phone when making the appointment. I will not need service on these appliances any time soon, but his honesty, professionalism and willingness to offer advice left no doubt in my mine who I am going to call next time for any appliance service.
