They put plastic up to contain the dust from sanding. It worked so well that we didn't have dust anywhere they weren't working! The hardwood floor turned out amazing, and I would hire them again for my next flooring project."

Danny took a look at our basement, and knew right away the best flooring to go with. The samples he brought over were beautiful and the quality of the luxury laminate is outstanding. On the day of installation the crew did an outstanding job. They finished the job in record time, even with some unexpected issues (our floor was not level, we needed trim, etc). Everyone was extremely polite and communication was great. In addition the team noticed a few things around our place that needed fixing (wobbly door, broken floorboard upstairs) and took care of them for no charge. "Wow, were these guys great. We needed to install a stair runner on our home's main staircase and Bob came right out and showed us samples. His quote was perfectly reasonable and he was professional and very nice without being pushy. Jorge and his partner came over shortly thereafter and took measurements and a few days later, Mary set up the installation. We did not love the style we chose for our curved stairway and when we explained our mistake, they could not have been nicer. They started the process all over again right away and installed it the way we should have chosen in the first place for no extra charge. Use them, you won't be sorry!"

"I reached out to Mike after two really bad experiences just trying to line up other providers to come give me an estimate (one didn't show up, and one never followed up). He responded in minutes, and we setup some time for him to come look at the floors in my house. The floors were pretty beat up and dated, and looking even worse after I dealt with several pipes bursting during the polar vortex. He measured, talked me through options, and quoted me a price right on the spot. It was right about where I thought it'd be, so I said yes, and we setup a date a few weeks later for the work to begin. Day of, they got there right on time. Mike introduced me to his guys, I walked them through everything they needed to know, gave them keys, left them waters and a few bucks for lunches, and then left. I had full confidence in both Mike and his team, and appreciated that they were so grateful that I left money for lunches and thought about them. They made sure questions were answered, that they understood details on the house, and that I could reach out at anytime for questions. Over the next 3 days, I stayed nearby and went home to check on progress and lock up at night. On day 2, Mike e-mailed and said they had one day left, and gave me some instructions. Day 3, they finished and I went by later at night to check it out. I was blown away by the change. They did a phenomenal job. While the whole project was a lot of prep on my end as well, it was absolutely worth it. Would recommend these guys without a doubt."

My cherry wood flooring is more difficult than normal to refinish but Mike and his buddy made it look brand new and the whole project was communicated clearly and Mike also provide followup calls to make sure things are good after the project is done. "If I knew how easy this process was, I would have changed my carpets years ago. I chose American Carpet Distributors due to the positive reviews. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical of how great the reviews were compared to competitors. Estimates from Home Depot and another local carpet store were both slightly/moderately cheaper, but they had some mixed reviews. I don’t have the patience nor the tolerance to deal with any issues. I am so glad I chose American Carpet Distributors. The whole process took a bit over 2 weeks from initial estimate, ordering, and installation. Larry came to my home and showed me samples of various carpets. Was patient as I moved the samples around to different rooms, and different light. Gave guidance based on which ones were better for more traffic, ability to see dust, vacuum lines, etc. Called the manufacturer to get me samples of the 2 colors that I had to decide between, and even left the sample board overnight so that my husband look at my choice. At the day of install, they called prior to arrival. There were 2 installers, both polite, and very careful when moving furniture and hauling the materials through the hallways. It took them a total of 5 hours to move furniture, take out old carpet, lay down padding, and install new carpets. They even cleaned up after themselves. The carpets look beautiful and nice quality."

This was installed in two days. The staircase was sanded and restained to match the new floor. The result is a perfect match.
