"Entire experience with Green Tech Plumbing was excellent, start to finish. A power outage shut down my old hot water heater with a message indicating the control unit needed replacement. I called another plumber for a service call, who indicated that to replace the control would be about $1200. Because the heater was already 10 years old, I thought it would be more cost-effective to replace the heater entirely. I got quotes from the first service company then requested quotes from several other companies specifically versed in installing AO Smith water heaters. Not only did Green Tech respond quickly, they had the lowest quote by far (a full $1450 less than the highest quote for installing the same model), Kevin at Green Tech also took the time to see if they could first get a control unit for a more reasonable cost and simply replace it (it was less but still high enough that I opted to replace the unit; however I appreciated that he did his due diligence). They were able to schedule to come out to replace the unit the next day, texted in the morning to let me know when they would arrive, and the two-man team actually arrived a bit ahead of schedule and set right to work. Work was completed within the estimated 3 hours, including removal of the old unit to the alley (where their scrap metal person picked it up withing 90 minutes). Service Tech (Mike?) let me inspect the work, answered my questions, and waited until I ran the faucets in my house to make sure all were in working order. I had also asked them to unclog an outside drain that was causing rainwater to backup and come in under my basement door. They threw in that rodding at no extra charge! Whole work area was left clean and neat. Could not be more pleased and would definitely recommend them to others. Thanks to the whole team."

"Dom came out to look at the sink. He let me know it would need to be rodded, but the pipe itself was very rusted and may need to be replaced. He tried he best to find a way to get the sink fixed that day without needing to replace anything. Unfortunately the sink is done. He was able to get a technician available right away for tomorrow to start the process of replacement. Very pleased with how this was handled."

"Matt and I discussed the potential work over the phone, and he was able to give me an accurate estimate of cost, so I gave him the go-ahead to do the work.  He arrived on time with an assistant and got started right away.  In all, the work to strip and finish the tub took about 4 hours, as Matt told me to expect.  I believe drying time was 24 hours.
The results are terrific.  The tub looks good as new - shiny and bright  As an added bonus, the bottom of the tub is textured, meaning I no longer have to mess with a plastic bathmat.
The tub is original to the home and, over time, the stopper in the drain disappeared.  I bought the home several years ago and have had to use a rubber stopper in order to fill the tub.  You know the know kind...a white rubber stopper complete with a chain.  Matt turned me onto a company who sell a cool fix for that problem.  I ordered a new drain, in the finish of my choice, that glued right on top of the existing drain (with a built in adhesive) including an integrated pop-up stopper and a strainer.  I bought a 2 piece set that included an overflow to match the drain and the total cost was around $50.  Thanks for that tip Matt!

I usually don't look forward to giving reviews because if I can't give a stellar review I'd rather not give any review -- just my nature. But with the Plumbing Doctor I have never had a better customer service experience than I had with John and his staff.

I had a pretty bad leaky outdoor faucet and when I saw the Big Deal for an outdoor faucet replacement I did an impulse buy hoping that's what I needed. John got back to me within the 2 days the deal said he would and we made an appointment within the next few days.

His serviceperson arrived on time and went to work. That's when we had a problem. When he was trying to change the assembly, it broke off inside of the wall between the inside and outside walls due to the way it was originally installed. He said he would have to open up my inside walls to get to it, which to me was not so much the problem as it was to getting to the wall as I have a one piece desk-hutch unit that hugs that corner of the wall and basically is non-moveable. Lucian (the plumber) had John call me and said even though opening up walls is not part of the basic service, they would cover it because the pipe broke while the technician was working on it. Whew! I was not ready for major plumbing expenses for a leaky faucet.

Lucian had to take apart some panels under my desk and make 2 holes in the wall before he able to fix and replace the broken section of pipe. When he was finished he said I would have to get someone else to fix the holes as he didn't know how to do that. I was a little disappointed but more concerned that mice or bugs would come in from the outside. About an hour later John called to ask if I was happy with the work done and I told him I still had holes in my wall, he said he wanted me to be "100% satisfied" and said he would send someone over to get them patched. Since that was a Friday, I received a call on Monday from a different gentleman who made an appointment for the next day to finish the job. He brought pieces of drywall and spackle and finished the job. He offered to come back when the plaster dried to sand it down but I told him not to bother that I would worry about it when I repainted the room since the patching was hidden behind the desk panel. He put everything back, cleaned up and wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I cannot believe it. These guys were really concerned about getting the job done, on time and correctly. I would trust them with any plumbing job in the future. And, by the way, the faucet works great and doesn't leak!

"Prompt, professional, quick service.  Have used this plumber for many years at Wood address, and he has always done a great job.  Very reasonable pricing, and shows up when he says he will.  Excellent plumber when you want it done right the first time.

The job was done with the highest degree of professionalism and the cost was reasonable. I was so pleased that I scheduled a second appointment on 11/23/2015 for power4 rodding and to install bathroom faucet.

The men were pleasant and very professional - in addition they took off their shoes at the door and cleaned up when done. Unfortunately on the job for the bathroom faucet the old pipe to sewer was corroded and they had to go out and get additional parts which they did and the price to correct my issue was reasonable.

This is the best plumbing service I have used in the last 20 years so going forward if I have plumbing work done it will ONLY be done by AAA Walsh and sons.
