Ken Golden, the owner of Golden Aire, came to our house for a quote and impressed me right away with his knowledge, honesty and professionalism. Have him come give you a quote just to see the difference between his expertise and the salespeople that other companies send out to do their bids! His price was comparable to that of other companies who were pricing out less expensive brands. When his crew came out to do the job, they were also very courteous, professional and punctual. They replaced some incorrectly installed ducts at no cost and finished the job cleanly and exactly as promised. The office, also extremely courteous and professional, followed up with me to do the testing for the airconditioning a few months later (as it was installed in winter and couldn't be tested) and scheduled the inspection for me. We are definitely giving them a call if and when the other system goes out."

"I saw an ad on Angie's list for a Quiet Cool Trinity Pro 3.3 whole house fan system installed for a good price. However, I wasn't quite sure the 3.3 would move enough air for my sq. footage. I left a msg. and Christopher the owner called me back the next day as he was out of town. We talked about the system and since I already had a pre-existing fan, but it was the old style box top from 20 years ago that sounded like a plane taking off. Christopher assured me the 3.3 would be more than enough for my sq. footage, especially since I installed a Quiet Cool Attic Gable Vent fan that moves a lot of air too. He also said the noise reduction would amaze me and it did. It's been turned on high and the lady of the house didn't even know it was turned on. Since, I know how to tape, top, texture, and paint, Christopher gave me a great discount from the Angie's list price. The guys, Phil and Eddie, showed up on time and ready to go. It went by fairly fast and I've just finished taping it out. Tomorrow or the day after, I'll get down to topping it and finish it with some orange peel texture spray to match the existing texture and paint. Great team and great price for a great product. "Of the five businesses I contacted for estimates, I thought the Bonney installer gave me the most honest up-front estimate (although it was also the highest estimate). Some of the businesses would only give me over-the-phone low-ball estimates that were obviously just for the water heater itself, neglecting to mention the extra components that would be needed such as valves, strappings, expansion tank, and an electrical disconnect box, all required for the City permit. And only a couple of businesses, even one who came to the house, bothered to mention the required City permit. The Bonney installer showed up on time with all the required equipment. He removed the old tank and components, prepped the area for the new components, and completed the installation in about five hours. He also cleaned the area thoroughly when he was finished. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the results. It passed the City inspection. And I also think I got a better quality water heater brand which isn't available online or at discount big-box stores."
